Whenyoung are Aoife Power and Andrew Flood, and they've just released their second album Paragon Songs, via AntiFragile Music. Formerly UK based, I caught them in transit on the move back to the west of Ireland. We talk about hype and major labels, why they're moving home, finding their voice through music, supporting Nick Cave, and lots more. Aoife says: "Every step is a new time in your existence and noting it down marks it, celebrates it and reveals you to yourself. These lyrics represent who I am right now or who I've been the past year or two. My intention is to like myself and be kinder to myself. And so I can only present myself in the state that I am currently in which is healing not healed."

FriZBy, originaire de Rouen, en France. Je suis un artiste polyvalent dont le répertoire traverse les genres du rock, de la pop rock au métal. Bien qu'ayant publié mes propres chansons en 2024, mon aventure a débuté bien plus tôt. Passionné de musique depuis 2007 en commençant la guitare, j'ai eu plusieurs expériences en groupe depuis 2009.

Mes principales influences incluent des géants du rock tels que @Muse ou @Linkin Park. Ces inspirations se reflètent je crois dans des compositions puissantes et émotionnelles.

Récemment, je me suis aventuré dans des collaborations avec d'autres musiciens amateurs, ce qui enrichi mon parcours artistique. Actuellement, je travaille sur l'écriture de nouveaux titres qui pourraient former un album, une perspective très excitante !

Malgré une nature timide et introvertie, la musique est le moyen pour moi d'exprimer des émotions profondes et de me libérer des sentiments que je ne partage pas autrement.

Ma discographie compte déjà trois titres importants :

@Echoes of Absolution, mon premier titre où j'ai pu mettre tout mon savoir-faire et constater mes imperfections.
@Exhale, un instrumental calme avec un travail méticuleux sur le son des instruments.
@Lost in the Shadows, un morceau rempli d'émotions, reflet d'une âme en quête de connexion.

À travers la musique, je parle avec mon cœur. Si vous cherchez un artiste qui sait capter l'essence du rock et la transformer en mélodies poignantes, je suis à écouter absolument.
