Sonic and the mad doctor managed to stumble upon a lost area of Little Planet, known as Glacier Gaiety, a vast glacial mass across from the volcanos of Tidal Tempest, littered with pine trees and sharp mountains galore. There are also small little pits of water that dot this sightly wonderland.

Glacier Gaiety - Present

Sonic travels back to the past, only to find a mere white plain of only ice and snow in front of him. The mountains have formed but are far more towering in size than they were in the present, along with little saplings dolloped with frost. There also appears to be a windy current that blows throughout this place, so Sonic has to keep on his toes to not slip into mayhem.

Glacier Gaiety - Past

Eggman wanted to take advantage of the glacial landmass by turning it into a storage facility, only to receive a rude awakening when the whole glacier produced a horrifying web of cracks as he tried to secure a foundation. There are countless broken saws that litter this dreary landscape of smog and destruction. It's even so bad that the trees were nearly sawed in half and are rotting by the very second.

Glacier Gaiety - Bad Future

In the Good Future, Sonic is treated to a lovely landscape of an astounding recreation center. The beautiful view of the giant ice mounds has indeed been restored to their former glory, with little beacons of light upon them so that they may shine bright within the dark. The slippery nature of the ice has been utilized for a D.I.Y. sledding section of the area. There are even nice little heating stations for the residents to reside in, just in case they get too chilly out in this winter wonderland. And, in the distance, there would appear to be an aurora borealis taking place at this very moment...
