For Week 1 of our 5 weeks of Pride colabs, we are in NYC with ON Top by the legendary Susanne Bartsch. Today is SKYWALKER.

SKYWALKER is a Bronx-born, Brooklyn-based DJ and event producer who arrived on the scene in 2023 with unstoppable energy and a deep connection to the dancefloor. As co-founder and resident of Mercury in Reggaeton, he’s known for expertly guiding crowds through high-intensity, emotionally-charged sets that feel both grounded and explosive. His sound blends house, Latin house, Jersey club, glitchy techno, and global club edits—always unpredictable, always high impact.

This mix is a sunset-to-night journey. It opens with warm, Latin-infused rhythms before building into rawer, percussive territory—layering Jersey bounce, broken club textures, and glitch-heavy techno into a cohesive, physical ride. It reflects the evolution of SKYWALKER’s sound beyond pure high-energy Latin sets, leaning into tension, groove, and atmosphere. With heart-pounding peaks and introspective dips, this is a set built for movement: physical, emotional, and communal.

Gritty, raw, and pulse-driven, this track captures the disorienting clarity of micro dosed perception, heightened awareness wrapped in minimal, mind-bending sound design.

Driven by an unstable groove and glitch-infused textures, “Microdot” pulses like a broken transmission from an underground machine. LFO juice is the sonic identity of Carl Jacques, lover of electronic music since an embarrassingly early age. The first album I bought was Autobahn by Kraftwerk and I scraped enough money together for a synth at 17. I have produced a gaggle of ambient/melodic/EDM tracks on a humble lap-top with a modest collection of software. Early influences by Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, Vangelis, Jean-Michel Jarre, 80s synthpop and all things EDM. Currently being inspired by Daniel Avery, Ben Bohmer, Jon Hopkins and Atli Orvarsson.
