The concept for this mix was a G Jones / Eprom inspired mix. However I figured everyone would be choosing a lot of their tracks so i wanted to limit myself to 1 track of each. I've always wanted to play Remorse out but i've been a little bit too anxious to. So, I decided I'll finally do it! It was really fun working backwards from that point, especially as I wanted to start with a more ambient intro. 

I also thought a lot about what G Jones and Eprom are; and maybe it's because I was reading a book on hauntology (ghost of my life by mark fisher), but I kind of categorized them as Post Rave. I think that word can take on many different meanings, like fisher describing burial or dark star - but I liked the idea of exploring the more like deconstructed rave music? Idk, it was fun to think about. Would love other people's takes on this cause as a friend said "G Jones would be considered IDM if those tracks came out 20 years ago", and what even is genres anyway?
