The long recording career of Swedish singer/songwriter Björn Skifs spanned several decades, beginning in the 1960s and carrying on into the next century. His greatest success came in the mid- to late '70s when he scored a couple Swedish Top Five ("Firefly," 1976; "Lady," 1977) and Top Ten ("Härligt, Härligt Men Farligt, Farligt," 1978; "Det Blir Alltid Värre Framåt Natten," 1978) hits, not to mention his 1974 American chart-topper "Hooked on a Feeling," credited to the band Blue Swede (also known as Blåblus in Sweden). 

Born on April 20, 1947, in Vansbro, Sweden, Skifs began his recording career in the band Slam Creepers, which released a couple albums (Bubbles, 1967; Sweet Ruth, 1968) before he split for a solo career. The solo albums From Both Sides Now (1969), Every Bit of My Life (1970), and Opopoppa (1971) weren't particularly successful, though, and so Skifs formed the band Blåblus, named after his 1972 solo album of the same name. 

The band was showcased on the 1973 album Pinewood Rally, comprised largely of English-language standards such as Leon Russell's "A Song for You" and Burt Bacharach and Hal David's "Always Something There to Remind Me." A cover of the 1969 B.J. Thomas song "Hooked on a Feeling" became a surprise number one hit in the United States in 1974, prompting the re-release of Pinewood Rally as Hooked on a Feeling under the English-language name Blue Swede rather than Blåblus. 

After an English-language follow-up album featuring Blåblus, Out of the Blue (1974), Skifs resumed his solo career and released a series of very popular Swedish albums, namely Schiffz (1975), Watch Out! (1977), Split Vision (1979), and If...Then... (1984), not to mention some relatively less popular releases. During his time period of peak success, Skifs competed twice in the Eurovision Song Contest, in 1978 and 1981, on behalf of Sweden.

I am a DJ. Yes. And I produce music. House Music. And - I believe in the magic that good music can deeply trigger our emotions.  And - I run this label called SUGARSTARR TRAXX. Feel free to collaborate and release with me. 

My mission is bringing together the wide range of House Music. From Disco-, Funky- to undergroundish Ibiza Tech House. 

And this is my full story:
 
Sugarstarr is a DJ and Producer, based in Vienna. In the Musicbiz since 1998 he had several #1 Club-Hits released on labels such as Spinnin‘ Deep, Enormous Tunes, Ministry Of Sound, Kontor, Positiva, Universal, Sony, Defected, Toolroom, Subliminal, WePlay and many more. The type of style that is typical for Sugarstarr can be described as Deep-Funky-Techhouse with Vocals & Soul. One of his latest releases was called "Hey Sunshine"​ an hit the #1 in the Beatport-Charts for 8 weeks in a row nad #2 All-Over . It's supported by the likes of Claptone, EDX, Oliver Heldens, Fedde Le Grand, and many many more. The early releases and achievements in his almost 20 years lasting career was along his partner Syke. Thus the project was called Syke'n'Sugarstarr. They cemented their reputation as premier producers and DJs with a string of releases which where also supported by the A-League of the Electronic Dance Music Scene, incl. Mark Knight, Tiesto, Bob Sinclar Kaskade, David Guetta. One of the biggest tunes they ever produced was the collaboration with Housemusic-Legend CeCe Rogers and the reincarnation of the classic "No Love Lost"​ which was three weeks the "Essential New Tune Of the Week"​ of Pete Tong's  Show on BBC Radio 1. Back to Sugarstarr as a solo-artist, which he now embodies since 2014 with huge success. Beside a long list of releases such as "Ticket 2 Ride"​ "Are You Watching Me"​, "Like That Sound"​ or "My Belief"​  it's one more to mention here. It's about the 2014 collaboration with Redman & Method Man (Wu-Tang Clan) in a different way, as Goh. The track called „I Used To Be“ and sat well on the No. 1 position on Beatport for six (!) weeks in a row too. This newly created style combined Nu Disco with Rap & Hip Hop elements. But - the most appealing aspect of Sugarstarr is just how fresh he sounds. Both with his productions and his DJ'ing, which, as anyone who has seen him behind the decks will know, is as diverse and experimental as his studio work.

Peppe Supino born in 1997 in Naples,
since childhood he has always had a strong passion for music, great artists who have influenced him and brought him into the world of music mainly both live and in his productions, such as
Luciano (DJ), Michel Cleis etc.
at a certain point in his career after a few years he decides to start producing and putting his ideas into practice, with “funk, Latin & soul disco” sounds that can range in his Tech House productions with a well-defined and Identifying sound.

Paul started DJ'ing in the early nineties and went on to become a regular playing bars, clubs and underground house parties around London and the South East. In 2010 after a long period in 'DJ retirement', Paul re-discovered his love for dance music with a particular focus on the emerging edits and disco scene.

He's a resident DJ for Shade Disco and has been on warm-up (and closing) duties for The Shapeshifters, Late Nite Tuff Guy, Dr Packer, Michael Gray, Melvo Baptiste, Fingerman, Babert, Hifi Sean and Vaudafunk to name a few.

Together with close friend and disco legend Evil Smarty, Paul launched Project Bango - a monthly night of upfront disco and house which has brought a vibrant new party buzz to Guildford's underground club scene.
