Pete Bromley has been Stoke On Trent's top House DJ since 1989 and it has been an interesting and varied journey for him! Resident DJ at Stoke's first successful Underground Dance night 'Introspective' back in 1989 he went on to play at the infamous Shelleys Laserdome as well as other influential clubnights across the UK. Pete's next residency was to be at the Freetown in Hanley which would see him play alongside DJ's like Sasha & Dave Seaman. This would become the stepping stone to his next residency, the legendary Golden. Pete was the main resident DJ at Golden for an amazing 11 years which saw him play with the worlds biggest DJ's bar none. During this time he played many guest appearances at places such as Cream, Renaissance, Ministry Of Sound and DJ magazine listed him as one of the most popular resident DJ's in the world, resulting in his Essential Mix live on Radio 1 alongside Pete Tong at Sankeys in 1996. Quite an accolade seeing as he has never bolstered his career with international gigs, remixes or a recording career as 99% of producer/DJ's do these days. After Golden's demise In 2003, Pete then went on to become one of the resident DJ's at Satchmo's which has now become part of Stoke clubbing folkelore and his position has been cemented over the last years as resident DJ for the Move and their parties at The Sugarmill, Spode Warehouse & The Underground  playing alongside Jamie Jones, Patrick Topping, Solardo, Skream, Annie Mac, Derrick Carter, Pete Tong, MK, Todd Terry, Seth Troxler, The Martinez Brothers, Steve Lawler, Hot Since 82, Eats Everything, Darius Syrossian,Micheal Bibi, Alan Fitzpatrick, wAFF,  Dimitri From Paris, Kenny Dope, Low Steppa, Dan Shake amongst dozens of House musics elite. Michael Vann (A.K.A. "DJ MX") is a Florida-based DJ and producer whose sound carries a global heartbeat. With over 30 years behind the decks, he blends the full spectrum of house music into sets that celebrate love, unity, and pure dance floor energy.

Inspired by legends like Louie Vega, Kenny Dope, Armand Van Helden, Terry Hunter, Mr. V, Mike Dunn, Kerri Chandler, and David Morales, DJ MX crafts a timeless yet forward-thinking vibe — balancing deep roots with fresh innovation.

From his early days rocking The Edge, Club 5, and Baha Buckets, to his frequent appearances at Shanty Town and curating his own MX Cast radio show, Michael has remained committed to one mission: keeping the groove alive and the crowd connected. Whether in a club, at a festival, or streaming worldwide, DJ MX transforms every set into a celebration — uplifting, soulful, and unforgettable.

Having cut his teeth as one of the original resident DJs at the seminal Venus, Nottingham in the early 90’s, Christian went on to play at most major venues across the UK and Europe during the halcyon days. Early in the decade he was named ‘one to watch’ in MixMag, gained pride of place on the Face Magazines’ barometer of “What’s Hot and What’s Not” listed as “…a Balearic DJ who can mix…” and later was named DJ of the Month in i-D Magazine – which in turn led to a coveted place on their World Tour alongside Tony Humphries.

His career blossomed further in the ensuing years and bestowed him not only with the privilege of playing alongside such luminaries (and musical heroes) as David Morales, Roger Sanchez, Masters at Work and Danny Tengalia but also his original inspiration, Graeme Park. By the mid 90’s he established himself as a staple at the legendary Southport Weekenders and secured a monthly residency at the Ministry of Sound. A disco-tinged house sound rapidly became his trademark and was also prominent in his later production work under the Nu Soulboy moniker with remixes and releases coming through such labels as Virgin (VC) Records and Todd Terry’s SoundDesign imprint. More recently his production work has been reinvigorated with two tracks coming out during 2023 and further releases slated for 2024.

To this day, he continues to produce and DJ - remaining an ambassador for “soul-based music to dance to”.
