A journey through funky, groovy layers of sweet guitar. In this acoustic soundscape inspired by the story of two brothers, the Tigris and Euphrates rivers of Mesopotamia, there is a balancing act of cyclical seasons. Tigris, the angrier of the two, balances ferocious power with sustainable fertility from Euphrates, the calmer.

The bassline grooves like a heartbeat, urging to forget the noise and find refuge. The drums kick in, a primal rhythm that echoes defiance. The chorus rises, a collective plea: Free Your Mind.. free your mind from the daily media bombardment which creates a state of tension that lives in fear. Satisfy your soul, synchronize yourself, and simply life.

Brighter Side of Sol is a five-piece fusion global funk band based in Honolulu, Hawaii. In its initial formation in 2018, visionary musician Shree brought together a diverse set of local musicians around the theme of positive messaging and groovy novel music. Inspired by Jimmy Hendrix and the like, the unique sound and entertainment fuses music styles from America, India and Malaysia. The rhythmic beats of the Indian Dhol drum are layered on groovy trombone and psychedelic guitars, a three part harmony, an iconic bass and driving rock drum kit. Fans are left humming the tunes long after the shows are over.
