Every drumbeat and every bass line is designed to make you feel every moment. The lyrics, performed in a blend of languages (including English, Swahili, and Luganda), reflect my desire to transcend cultural boundaries and forge a universal connection through music.

A truly dynamic and transformative ecstatic dance journey—this Spring Forward set marks my debut at Boulder Ecstatic Dance (B.E.D.), recorded live at The Avalon on March 10, 2025. Joined by the soulful live vocals of Sasha Starseed and Courtney Acamo, this set weaves organic bass, medicine house, tribal electronic, and world-infused soundscapes to celebrate movement, renewal, and global community.

The theme of the night was “Springing Forward”—as time shifted an hour ahead, so too did our collective energy, propelling us into a space of intention, rhythm, and celebration. This moment in my life is about intentionally preparing the garden of my life by planting seeds—both in myself and in community—and this set was a heartfelt expression of that.

The Shelter Yangon is proud to present a new mix from Saola & Moro.
Underground DJs, Saola and Moro started curating a dance & electronic music night in Vientiane, Laos. They wanted a diverse platform for bringing new sounds to the city’s dance floors and audiophiles. Anchored at their home base, a local gem known as Hard Bye, their shows united a gang of international DJs, sparking events at nearly every hotel, rooftop, bar, jungle, and boat, along with a batch of unexpected pop-ups across the country. Their style is an eclectic blend of Melodic house, Tropical, Amapiano, Minimal, Afro, Latin, and global rhythms. Beyond this, Saola and Moro helped create signature events, including the monthly Mekong boat parties and the Suai series, both of which have welcomed renowned international DJs, turning Vientiane into a tiny growing hub of dance music culture.

Xxhe or Ж is an ice composer, vocalist, sound artist, serrulate sonancer, performance artist, poet, bending shape dancer, martial artist, experimental opera borner, and groundbreaking creator from San Francisco.

Known for writing a "strange-tundra" opera at the age of seventeen using the sounds of wind, ice, orchestral instruments, and the human voice, Xxhe styled a new genre and continues to invent new ways to write music.

The founder of the “Dialect Halls of Ж: the rooms to sonancers, movists and zuo dialects,” a collective which curates unusual and intimate performances, Xxhe is a gatherer of musicians, performing story-heavy dance pieces to their original compositions in both above and underground places - never without an extraterrestrial flare and a drop of otherworldliness.

Nibriell is the pseudonym under which I sign my musical and literary works. I was born in Romania, a beautiful country in Eastern Europe, but I also live in the UK. For personal reasons and symbolism, the pseudonym is inspired by the names Saint Nicholas (Ni) and Archangel Gabriel (briell). 

     As for my musical activity, I do not define myself through traditional terms such as artist, musician, or composer, but rather as a music creator. This term is much more suitable for my musical activity. I have only one regret: not being born with the talent to sing or possess a musical voice. 

     However, my passions for music and literature have been cultivated with interest throughout my life. With the advent of AI in our lives, it has been very successful in producing high-quality vocalizations, which instantly encouraged me to start creating melodies. 

     Therefore, in my creative workshop, DAW software, music editing, and AI technology are the tools through which I express my vision. By using AI to generate the distinctive voice of my pieces and recreate the sounds specific to traditional or archaic instruments, I bring to life the stories I present to you. 

     My entire creation, from one end to the other, tries to tell a story, whatever it may be. From myths and legends worldwide to stories I create, they are dressed in melodies and harmonies that exceed language and culture, touching a universal chord of human emotion. With each composition, my goal is to open a window to imaginary worlds, inviting the listener to explore ancestral myths, personal narratives, or those already existing worldwide. 

     Using a mix of modern sounds and traditional elements, I aim to create a bridge between the past and the present, between the real and the fantastic, offering the listener an auditory experience and an emotional and spiritual journey.

     So, Nibriell is the pseudonym that unites all these creative sides and expresses the desire to create and the belief that art, in all its forms, is a vehicle for understanding, compassion, and connection among people, regardless of their origins or borders. This is the path I have chosen to follow, one in which every note and word contributes to creating a more extensive work of all humanity, an ode to the beauty and complexity of life.

     Although AI plays an essential and decisive role in my work, it does not define its direction or quality at all. I entirely write the texts and melodic lines, and the voice generated by it is the product of my strict vision and supervision.
