Each verse captures a moment of loss, guilt, and reckoning, but also a spark — a pulse “inside the cage.” The repeated refrain, “Some years calling through the rain,” becomes a distant signal — of regret, of memory, of what still might be saved. As a non-commercial station, CJSF takes pride in being an alternative to mainstream media and offers the public a forum for artists and social issues that otherwise may not receive media attention.
