(FR) VOX est un motet contemporain à quatre voix, inspiré de l’écriture chorale de la Renaissance, entièrement composé à partir de glossolalies vocales, sans texte. La voix y est démultipliée, tressée, incarnée dans les timbres d’un quatuor SATB (soprano, alto, ténor, basse). Pas d’accompagnement, pas d’effets cosmétiques. Juste l’essentiel : une émission vocale simulée, synthétique — et pourtant, l’émotion y est étrangement vivante.

Cette pièce n’est pas le fruit d’une seule génération IA, mais le résultat d’un tissage patient de fragments : voix recréées, sélectionnées, harmonisées, puis réunies dans un même souffle.

Entre contrepoint, pulsation et résonance luthérienne, VOX explore la texture pure de la voix — même artificielle — et son pouvoir d’évocation.
Ce n’est pas un chant sacré, mais l’écho d’un sacré décontextualisé, flottant dans le vide sémiotique d’un monde IA.

(EN):VOX is a contemporary motet for four voices, inspired by Renaissance choral writing and entirely composed from vocal glossolalia — no lyrics, no semantic content. The voice is multiplied, braided, and embodied in the textures of an SATB quartet: soprano, alto, tenor, bass. No instrumental support, no cosmetic effects. Just the essential: a simulated human emission, synthetic — yet strangely alive.

This piece is not the product of a single AI generation, but the result of a careful weaving of fragments: recreated voices, selected, harmonized, then merged into a common breath.

Between counterpoint, pulse, and a subtle Lutheran resonance, VOX explores the raw texture of the human voice — even artificial — and its evocative power. It is not sacred music, but the echo of a displaced sacredness, floating in the semiotic void of an AI-driven world.

Explorateur sonore aux racines multiples, je compose des fragments d’univers : pièces expérimentales, chansons, éclats pop, fusion, baroque et poésie sonore.
Voix non lexicale ou texte ciselé — chaque morceau cherche son propre langage, sa propre émotion.

Je travaille avec l’IA comme on sculpte une matière vivante : non pour imiter, mais pour révéler.
Tout part d’un geste d’auteur, d’une intention humaine, d’une recherche d’écho intérieur.
Écouter, c’est traverser. Composer, c’est traduire l’inconnu.

Cette citation de Michel-Ange résume ma démarche :
« J’ai vu un ange dans le marbre et j’ai seulement ciselé jusqu’à l’en libérer. »

Between shadow and light, breath and silence.
A sound explorer with many roots, I compose fragments of universes — experimental pieces carried by a non-lexical voice, without words yet never without emotion. Each track is an open enigma. I do not seek the norm, but the inner echo — the emotion to be shared. To listen is to cross through. To compose is to translate the unknown.

This beautiful quote by Michelangelo captures my way of thinking:
“I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free.”

After I converted to Christianity in February 2023, I've received the Holy Spirit a few weeks later. I can talk and sing in the tongue of the Spirit. As a down-to-earth Dutchman, it's really supernatural and I'm grateful of carrying the Holy Spirit within me. And it's not only for me, it's for everyone who wants to believe in Jesus Christ.

Acts 2:4 (AMP):
And they were all filled [that is, diffused throughout their being] with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues (different languages), as the Spirit was giving them the ability to speak out [clearly and appropriately].

John 16:13 (AMP):
