We have been misled into thinking that God is an external being in the sky and now that I know that we all have God within us, I want to share that information with everyone. We have more power than we know. Also, as a gay women, some people in the christian community say things like "You're going to hell" or "God doesn't love you". These people are the reason why people that are part of the gay community hold resentment towards God. I personally have been blessed to be able to find a relationship with God through it all and no matter what people say, I know what he has done for me and what he has bought me through. This is what this song represents.
