Big news for the MonsterVerse! Finally, with less than a year until release, we have an official title for the next MonsterVerse film, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. David and Brian look beyond the Batman v Superman-esque title and discuss what the film might possibly be like, with the tease of another member of Kong's species being presented as the main threat in the film. Doritos, Connections, & MTN Dew co-host Howard Miller also makes his first appearance on the show to argue about why fans want Destoroyah to appear in the film.

2023 proves itself to be the year of Godzilla. In addition to the first trailer for Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, the international release for Toho's latest entry into the Godzilla franchise, Godzilla Minus One has arrived, and just like every other kaiju podcast, and possibly even film podcast, we have to cover it. Is it the best Godzilla movie since the original? Many people, fans and nonfans alike, seem to think so! Spoiler alert: we loved it. So you really don't HAVE to listen to this episode.
