Time for another mini compilation in our catalog, always the same procedure, three new artists and three from our family, numbers 01, 03 and 05 are the new additions to our roster and numbers 02, 04 and 06 the family ones.

This being said, the first cut is by French legend @ArnaudLeTexier, providing Shelter, a relentless continuous driller in the best Birmingham tradition, no mercy here, direct weapon for the dancefloor.

Groof (@roberto-gemelin-353716488), the Spanish techno originator puts his machinery to work on Motorn, straight rhythms, carefully crafted sound design, all into a super clever arrangement administered at a human BPM rate, something rare to see these days.

@Cararamusic keeps the pace with CFBDSIR 2149-0403 again a straightforward groove, percussive and intense, with a superb metallic synth line keeping things busy.

On Galactic Tech, @Alavux dives into sci-fi realm but with a lofi approach on textures and sounds, no pads here, just adrenaline.

Label owner @G02 put his focus on the nineties tradition with Switch On, a classic track full of soul and old school vibes.

Last but not least, @Amby_Iguous, put the cherry on the pie with Movements, a superb vocal sample workout with Reese style bassline, absolute magic for the best sound systems out there.

It’s been a long while since our last Tonal compilation, five years to be exact, and it’s also been a long while since label boss Leandro Gamez’s last track on the label, so we are double happy.

This mini compilation features long time label veterans, like the aforementioned Leandro Gámez, Bando, Groof and Deepnaut. All four artists are a fundamental part of techno history locally in Spain and worldwide, so they don’t need further introduction just check discogs and you’ll get the picture.

Release starts with Bando and his track Garaje Hermético, a proper complex and funk techno exercise made of rugged FM synth layers over a shuffled groove, constantly evolving and mutating a guaranteed dancefloor burner.

Next comes Groof with Strom playing with industrial flavored broken rhythms spiced with metallic FM synths and occasional bleeps. Additional percussive layered heavily reverberated complete the equation.

Deepnaut provides his personal touch on techno with Freaq FM, always blending harmonies with hypnosis in a rolling chord infused number, galactic and classic at same time.

Release closes with Leandro Gámez and Dengue, shuffled grooves, mental sequences, vocal snippets and classic chords in a timeless techno workout.

Sometimes we have dreamed of having a legendary project in our label, and as you may probably know, dreams can become reality if you dream harder. Being part of the genesis of the Spanish techno scene since the beginning we have grown with several colleagues in this extensive trip. We admire profoundly all of those who started this sonic journey, but specially we love the solid careers of Groof and Daniel Erbe / Deepnaut. 

When techno was just an utopia Groof, Daniel and Hd Substance formed the seminal project Ballet Mecánico; now part of that spirit is reborn in the form of Brain Ballet, the new project from Groof and Deepnaut.

For this amazing sonic adventure they have shared studio time to give birth to six cuts of modern and futuristic techno, for sure it has roots but it's nothing but innovation and looking forward.

Falling Objects start the release straight to the point with a solid rhythm basements, snappy stabs and floating atmospheres all melted in a constantly moving structure.

Aerobik introduces roughness and distortion, gymnastic sequences and a peak time approach setting the pace for Hold! that sounds like a timeless combination of the best Birmingham tradition and the Detroit soul.

Maderfaker wastes no time with obsessive vocal snippets, continuous sequences and straight to the bone percussive elements.

Desde Abajo is an incursion into dubby and liquid territories, precise chord action for the deepest moments in the club.

Paradoxically, the track called Intro close this masterpiece in style, using beatless drones and atmospheres to relax mind and body after this phrenetic odyssey.

Really looking forward to more to come from this pair of aces.
