Next Life is a cheeky farewell dressed up in a funk groove — a sarcastic “see ya later” to a love that never quite fit. With sharp one-liners, swaggering bass, and a chorus that bites as much as it bounces, it’s a bitter goodbye you can dance to. It’s funk with a smirk and a middle finger.

I don't really write tracks with a rigid "genre" in mind, but the closest thing I could think of for this track is melodic techno. The song is called "Ph Balance" because it combines cues and elements from a ton of different styles, including but not limited to: acid house, acid techno, tech house, trance, techno, tech trance, and many more. The song was also time-intensive to compose, as this track was made using a lot of sampling > resampling > microedits, etc. Logic Pro has had the ability to bounce grouped tracks in place into one file, while Ableton Live recently acquired this feature with the 12.3 update. This makes the whole sampling-to-resampling process easier, but microedits are a huge pain. Kudos to those who regularly compose dubstep, which is built on the entire premise of sampling > resampling > micro-edits, cause it's a PAIN.

"Drop it" is a straightforward tech house track. This song is built around various sound fxs, repetitive loops, filter sweeps, sidechains, vocal chops, and a combination of sampling > resampling. The track was composed in Ableton Live 12.3 Suite and mastered in Logic Pro. 

Drop It

This is somewhat of a melodic techno track that is layered, steady, and groove driven. The song layers and de-layers from beginning to end. This track was composed in Ableton Live 12.3 Suite using a combination of stock Ableton instruments, Xfer Records Serum 2, Xfer Records OTT, and some sampling + re-sampling + microedits. 

Let's Ride

"Don't Stop" is a tech house track fused with elements of funky house. There are a lot of filter sweeps, modulation sweeps, layering, de-layering, sudden micro edits, volume swells, and a bunch of other production techniques that went into composing this track. 

Composed and produced in Ableton Live Suite 12.3 using a mixture of stock plugins, Xfer Serum 2, Xfer OTT, and heavily modified samples. 

Don't Stop

Here we have a 3-way fusion of tech house, deep house, and melodic techno. From a production standpoint, the entire theme of this track is addition and subtraction. Tons of volume swells and automations with this one, but they are spaced out and done smoothly and carefully. This gives the track a rather "wavy" feel, because you initially feel it more than you hear it. 

This track was composed in Ableton Live 12.3 Suite using a mix of stock Ableton instruments, heavily modified samples, Xfer Serum 2, Vital by Vital Audio, and Xfer OTT. 

It's Time To Vibe

This is a rather mellow and 'introspective' sounding (hence the name) melodic techno track with some elements of deep house thrown in here and there. Sometimes after posting several energetic tracks, it's nice to go on a "wind-down" and post more mellow stuff. This track was composed in ableton live 12.3 suite.

Introspection

"Happy Hour" is quite the track. This is a melodic techno track that combines elements of progressive house and electro house. It's energetic and vibey, as well as just an overall "good time," hence the name "happy hour."

This is a very hypnotic and atmospheric melodic techno track. Two tracks inspired this composition: Secret Encounters and Full Circle by Guy Gerber.

AI-ASSISTED, multi-genre producer from Australia. I co-write concepts with chatGPT (I use AI mostly sanity check, style guides etc. the motives and core lyrics are my own), guide a Suno pass, then rebuild: swap/overdub parts, arrange, add, remove, mix & master, sound effects etc. 

References run from Level 42 and Mike Oldfield to KLF-era rave, drill, garage to the demoscene, I am not much of a fan of country and that hard core stuff, but everything else I <3
