This is a guided breath practice to calm the nervous system.

Singapore, Day 5. Jacqui recommended that I record her friend Chun who is a certified Wimhof Method instructor. We recorded at his studio in his house.

We decided that each recording would be a progression for beginners to follow but still accessible to all levels. Each session is very clearly guided, and each step is calmly explained in the recording. Each recording contains three breathing sessions with each part timed by Chun. After each session, you will hold your breath for a short while and after a relaxing release, it continues to a longer session with more breaths. You can hear my breathing in the recording as I participate in the sessions.

This is the second recording and is an intermediate-level breathwork session.

Jacqui recommended that I record her friend Chun who is a Wimhof method instructor. I contacted him and he was able to book a time this morning at his place in Marymount.

We decided that each recording would be a progression for beginners to follow but still accessible to all levels. Each session is very clearly guided, and each step is calmly explained in the recording. Each recording contains three breathing sessions with each part timed by Chun. After each session, you will hold your breath for a short while and after a relaxing release, it continues to a longer session with more breaths. 

This recording is the final and more advanced breathwork session with more intense breathing and longer breath holds.

This new RISE Breathwork journey is a 15 minute session designed to bring you back to your center, no matter how hectic life feels. This practice is about returning to the stillness that is always available within you. Beneath the noise of the mind there is a steady, grounded presence waiting to be felt, and this session guides you straight back into that space.

My mission with RISE is to make transformation accessible and help you integrate breathwork into your daily life. This journey helps you shift your state of being, reconnect to yourself, and rise to your full potential.

In this practice, you will move through cycles of conscious connected breathing activation and gentle retentions relaxation, supported by Asiri I, one of my all time favorite tracks for dropping back into the body.

What to expect in this session:
• 15 minute guided breathwork journey
• Two cycles for grounding, centering and inner stillness
• Soundscape featuring Asiri
• A practice to get out of your mind and into your body.
• Accessible to all levels, no prior experience needed

Headphones are highly recommended, they help you stay in your own bubble and fully immerse without distraction.
You can practice sitting or lying down in a comfortable, undisturbed space.

Breathwork Instructions

This is a connected breath practice — no pause between inhale and exhale.
• Inhale: Belly & chest expand
• Exhale: Belly & chest fall
• Breathing in: Mouth (more powerful) or nose (gentler)
• Breathing out: Mouth
• Each cycle includes dynamic breathing followed by two retentions (~45 sec after exhale, then ~45 sec after inhale).
• You may feel tingling, changes in temperature, or mild muscle tension — these are normal effects of breathwork.
• If overwhelmed, return to gentle breathing in and out through the nose (focus on prolonging your exhale).
• Always listen to your body and never force anything.

⚠ Important Contraindications

If you have a history of psychosis or epileptic seizures, this practice is not for you.

If you are currently pregnant, please listen closely to your body. Only participate if it feels right for you — and do not perform or hold any of the breath retentions.
