In this chapter, a ceremonial turban is supposed to be tied on Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji but seeing the oppositions from his elder brother, Prithi Chand, Guru Ji allows him to be given the turban. The Sikhs however, come to Guru Ji and not Prithi Chand who is a proclaiming himself as a Guru. This displeases Prithi Chand who then befriends Sulhi Khan.

Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji blesses their grace and Sri Hargobind Sahib Ji recovers completely without any side effects. This puts the saying of Prithi Chand false as he had proclaimed that Sri Hargobind will not survive from the small pox. Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji utters a Shabad with this regard
