Across 54 minutes he dives into West Coast Hip-Hop, Beats, Funk, Trap, Techno and more, remixing slowed acapellas - blending Drakeo the Ruler’s “It’s Sum Shit On Me” with Aphex Twin’s emotional 1995 classic “Alberto Balsam”. Mixo feels like a journey through just a handful of YAYAYI’s inspirations overs the years, with various sounds that feel like they could’ve been influences in his earlier boom-bap days all the way up to the glitchy trap styles he’s become more known for in the modern era.
