این قطعه‌ی متال با الهام از غزل حافظ، «دوش رفتم به در میکده خواب‌آلوده»، ساخته شده است. در این اثر، تلاقی ادبیات کلاسیک فارسی و موسیقی متال به گونه‌ای شکل گرفته که حال و هوای عمیق و فلسفی شعر در قالبی جدید و قدرتمند منعکس شود. این آهنگ، ادای احترامی به هنر و ادبیات کهن ایران است و در عین حال، روح موسیقی متال را با آن درهم می‌آمیزد. نخستین اجرای این شعر در قالب موسیقی توسط گروه OHum انجام شده است، گروهی که سهم مهمی در زنده نگه داشتن پیوند موسیقی مدرن و ادبیات فارسی داشته است.

درد عشق - آواز محمدرضا شجریان و نی محمد موسوی

این قطعه‌ی Doom Metal با الهام از یکی از غزل‌های جاودانه‌ی حافظ شیرازی ساخته شده است. در این شعر، حافظ از یأس و سرخوردگی در روابط انسانی سخن می‌گوید؛ از انتظاراتی که بی‌ثمر ماندند و حقیقتی که خلاف آنچه پنداشته می‌شد، آشکار گشت. فضای تاریک و سنگین این آهنگ بازتابی از همین حس ناامیدی و درون‌گرایی است که در لایه‌های عمیق شعر او نهفته است. 

This Doom Metal piece is inspired by one of the timeless ghazals of Hafez Shirazi. In this poem, Hafez speaks of despair and disillusionment in human relationships—of expectations that remained unfulfilled and truths that emerged contrary to what was once believed. The dark and heavy atmosphere of this track reflects the same sense of hopelessness and introspection deeply embedded in his poetry.

Fa-Noose - Chashm e Yari

I don't know why I waited so long, but finally I'm posting this track after it sitting for months in a folder. 
Some of my friends know that 2025 has been...a bizarre, often hurtful, and ridiculous year. And of course, that's just me - never mind the state of the world we're living in. I wrote this piece not long after a mass shooting at a queer bar in Colorado Springs in 2022. I originally composed it on ukulele and then transferred it to harp, although my Sufi community adored it as it was. I have shared it mostly in labyrinth/walking meditation spaces, but last night I shared it at an open mic. A few of my "Rainbow Nomads" (ask me) were there, and it affected them very deeply, enough that they begged me to post the recording I had. I'm doing it for them, and for all Rainbow and Spiritual Nomads from here to the other end of the world. It's a heavy thing to be in love.

در داستان این شعر، روایت از شبی آغاز می‌شود که راوی در رؤیایی می‌بیند فرشتگان به میخانه آمده‌اند؛ برای همدلی با آدمیان. هنگام آفرینش انسان، آن‌گاه که گِل او را می‌سرشتند، رنجی ناشناخته در ژرفای این خلقت احساس کردند؛ رنجی که گویی از پیش، بر سرنوشت انسان نوشته شده بود. دل‌شکسته از این سرنوشت، به میخانه پناه آوردند و با راوی هم‌پیاله شدند. سپس راز نهفته را آشکار کردند و گفتند: «آدمیان را ببخش، چرا که نمی‌دانند. نادانی، نه از سر دشمنی، که از بی‌خبری‌ست. آنان حقیقت را نمی‌بینند، و همین نادانی، آتشی‌ست سوزان‌تر از آنچه تو می‌پنداری.» دانستن این راز، باری‌ست سنگین؛ آن‌چنان سنگین که دل فرشتگان را نیز به اندوه کشاند. و اینک، این بار بر دوش انسان نهاده شده است — انسانی تنها، خسته و نادان...
