This episode features my discussion with Nectar Collective, a queer DJ collective founded by Anita Chastanet, who DJs as aniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiita, Cher Hann, or Dumb Little Bitch and Annah-Lauren Bloom, or DJ Decision. They run SLURP, a slut-pop focused Queer dance party, and recently launched Nectar TV to archive their multi-media output. 

This episode also features an interlude with writer/curator/Queer archivist Robin Metcalfe, who takes us on a deep-dive into the relationship between Halifax’s Queer history and underground after hours dance spaces.

A Short Bio:

Adam Lee started getting love for music from a young age been around 8 / 9 years knowing and seeing that his dad was is DJ. 
His dad Lee Hutchinson then showed him basic beat matching etc... by the age of 11 he proceeded and adapted his own DJ skills and learnt more and more each time that he rocks dancefloors with now. By 13 he started making beats not really knowing what he was doing it was all a massive guess but to learn the know how he started listening to music from his favorite DJ/Producers getting ideas for music he was kean to make he tried to copy that style of music or the beat and make it his own his love for music has just grown and grown. Adam Lee has played at many venues across the country from the age of 16 and his music and mixes are getting more and more attention and plays building a nice fanbase for himself gaining new followers everyday, everywhere Adam Lee plays he is always shown love and respect from everyone.
