In 2016 something shocking was found at William Shakespeare’s grave. This resulted in questions being asked that could not be answered. Bard Times takes us back through time to points in history that are mirthful, entertaining and tragic, but which could have all happened and may give insight into the complex and mysterious life and death of the bard known as William Shakespeare.

Various sound effects and atmospheric sounds from a small boat harbour on the West Coast of Sweden. You can hear sounds like wooden bridges moving slowly, metal springs stretching, sail boat poles moving in the wind, and various other sounds typical of a small boat harbour.

Recorded using a Zoom F3 and Portacapture X8 with microphones such as BP4025 for stereo recordings and mono recordings are with MKH 416 and MKE 600 in various configurations.

Recorded 22nd of February at Skovshoved Havn, Denmark.
The boats are up for the winter "parked" very closely together by the harbour.
Going under them and in between them like walking among trees in the woods. I found a good spot and started recording. This is how it sounded.

Lars Kivig is a Danish musician, composer and producer. He is the founder of Vicious Studio & Records, Acorn Falling, As2O3, SKAMBIDT, Eocæn, Black Water White Sea, KIVIG_GNIBEN and Electrovert. Kivig is also a composer and member of MY BELOVED since 1997.

Daniël Majoor has been fascinated by electronic music since he was very young. As a child he listened to artists like Vangelis, Jean Michel Jarre, OMD and everything that came close to that. With keyboards and borrowed synthesizers he let himself be inspired by his idols, while at the same time he learned to create his own sounds. Later he was able to slowly but surely put together his own studio and make his childhood dream come true.

Daniël has no musical education and makes music by ear and feeling. He does not see himself as a musician, but more as a "painter with sound". His music is often theme-oriented and has a broad spectrum.
