Carl Shorts is the sonic alter ego of an extraordinary, forward-thinking hard techno producer and composer. Inspired by the grit of 90s European techno and the do it yourself ethics of modern underground movements, Shorts leads a new breed of hard techno artists. Drawing influence from the pulse of Berlins basements to the industrial echoes of Detroit, Shorts' productions are driven by pounding kick drums, relentless grooves and distorted rhythms and textures to create the hard-hitting sound that he is renowned for.
