Feelslikeacid is a musician from Saint Petersburg who provides live performances on synths and drum machines. In this set you will hear classic acid house grooves and the vintage sound of the underground.

He has been making music for 10 years, especially on synthesizers and drum machines, and has been playing live for about eight years. His journey began when he started using hardware to make music, as he couldn’t get the right sound using a computer. That decision led him to perform live in clubs, where he quickly realized that people liked it - even if few understood exactly what was happening on stage.

At first, he focused on old school rave music like 80s acid house and 90s Chicago house, but later discovered that he could be multi-genre. To explore this, he acquired different pieces of equipment for different tasks and began creating a wide range of music, from 90s boom bap and Memphis rap to intelligent jungle, dub techno, and ambient.

In his view, the great thing about hardware equipment and the dawless format is that it allows for a deeper dive into the experimental aspects of sound - opening possibilities that computers often cannot replicate.

RADIO ELECTRONICA was one of the first independent radio programmes to go on air in Jena in 1999. The background was to bring colour into the dreary Thuringian radio programme and to create a platform where regional and national artists from the electronic music scene could present themselves and exchange ideas. RADIO ELECTRONICA claims to be always on the trail of new influences, trends and artists in the field of electronic music.

The show quickly developed from the first pre-productions to a live broadcast, which can be heard every four weeks on Saturdays from 7pm to midnight on the open channel Jena on UKW 103.4 Mhz and via online stream (https://radio-okj.de/wp-content/themes/radiookj/okj-player.html).

With a steadily growing fan base, RADIO ELECTRONICA is still a firm institution in the field of electronic music in Jena and beyond the city limits. Besides the latest scene trends and record presentations, studio guests are a big part of the show.
