A talmudic adage says that before God inflicts a wound, he prepares the remedy. The tragedy of October 7 has left a spiritual scar on Israel and the Jewish people, but not without remedy. Messianic Israeli cellist Leat Sabbah, inspired by God’s call to repentance through Yeshua and the prophets, has been sounding the alarm through her brilliant composition, “Wake Up, My Beloved.” She joins us to talk about her faith, her music, and the spiritual battle Israel is waging behind the scenes. Our co-host is Judi Abrams from the Bram Center for Messianic Jewish Learning in Jerusalem.

Yes, that's what I told Catherine, the beauty of Yellowstone is unbeliavable... scalpel, thank you nurse... It's just breathtaking , all the natural beauty.  Blood squirts from patient 19.  Whoops, he wipes the blood off his glasses.  Yet he picks up his cellphone, his mistress is ringing.  "yes, well tell "Candice" she can have the tickets, we're replacing ours with balcony seats.  Yes I know the floor is better but trust me, our guests..." The heartbeat monitor beeps quickly, nurse what are you doing go get Frank out of the supply room.  Frank is code for Fumes Retroactive Alkaline Nosfaratus Kite, a artificial intelligence doll capable of hedonistic revelry and... The conversation cuts off, screen retracts from headspace node 7, and to Eden's suprise the strait jacket clasps all come loose and she's alone in an empty white room, no door or exit visible...

What would a song smell like? What does the Chihuahuan desert smell like when it rains? Volatile oils washing off of plants. Endophytic fungi. The rain it self. Osmocosm is the fragrance of any particular habitat; the symphony of smells where you happen to live. Wednesdays rain brought with it sweet smelling thick haze. Shades of blue.  Hope, leaves and ephemeral pools. I wanted to gather sensations and present is as a song.

 “Fear not/Be Still” my current mantra, my way forward, a song for meditation and contemplation. Starting to treat my difficult moments and emotions with stillness. Originally hailing from Louisiana, Sheets Soulstice is an attempt to bridge the gap between modern and ancient forms of communal music.  Blending folk, hip hop, and analog sound tapestries together, Sheets weaves together experiences rather than just tracks.  After a hiatus, Sheets will be returning to write, produce, and release music [edit - and film / visual arts] co'nsi'stent'ly ASAP.

The backdrop the near future, the setting: bleak.  Dickhole Dupree returns to his dusty ass shithole to find his wife rearranging their digital plant wall, the only serious investment they made since moving in.  He kicks back in his graviton couch and cuts on the quadrilateral triangle box to watch football.  It's The Sophisticated Angles vs. The Here-say Arguments again returning for the title match after an unremarkable tie for what seems like another one.  "The Day of the Dog Begins when you eat the 9th parasite," he sends up through his meditational hyperlink.  His wife opens the parachute door and responds through said orifice:  "please do not wear the chicken suit."  But it was too late.  He looks down at his bioflesh and to his aghastfulness sees the glimmer of crystalline feathers instead of his normal brown peacoat.  He lets out a horrendous yelp and leaps out of his chair and finds that his wife his vanished and yet her voice eerily remained resonating through the hallway speaking of the kale salad she had auto-digested earlier that day.
