Welcome to Music and me Episode 2 where this week I have invited two fantastic Disc Jockeys to share what has been an incredible journey so far into their life as a duo that they are known as Hayes N Harker. 
The duo is made up of Shaun Hayes and Will Harker who once had a dream to partner up and to take on the music scene with not only passion, but pride in their sharing of music to the people. 
Crowd pleasers? Absolutely. The following they have accomplished is in its thousands and will grow more and more for sure. They are known for their hard dance, trance and techno publications as well as the epic intros heard across many events over the years, which even caught myself into attracting the duos set up. 
In this podcast, both Shaun and Will dedicate and give thanks to people and connections that has lead them to this opportunity in life as well as sharing stories from their past events that has spread out nationwide. And more importantly, they shed a light on a new project, recently finalising a new track, ready from October 2024. From breakdowns on service stations to Haribos and prawn cocktail Pringles, this podcast is worth a listen, as we dive into the DJ life of Hayes N Harker.

Music & Me Podcast - Episode #2 featuring. Hayes N Harker

The name is Anton, and I use Dex.. I am A Vinyl and controller Disc Jockey. 

Music is life, that’s why our hearts have beats, and music has been with me since I was a child. Picking up the love for it is with thanks to my brother, Thomas, who is also a DJ. Heavily into A State of Trance and various House music as a young lad, my passion and desire to use Decks was something I had to jump on and so I did, grabbing my first set up back in 2019. Throughout the days before this set up, I would often use my brothers, but getting your own is something you get a drive for. 

Since the set up, I have digged crates like never before, as I loved the original vinyl records full stop. Classic/Progressive/Tech and Melodic Trance. House, Tech house and Techno/Melodic Techno is where the focus is, and will forever be the focus. 

Outside the music, I now host my own podcast, giving DJs a chance to showcase their journeys and stories of how they became DJs and why. After all, we all get here some way or another. You can find this podcast on Spotify as well as here. Search- Music & Me - The antndex Podcast. 

I’m also a huge Middlesbrough FC fan and an ambassador for Autism. I collect coffee stamps to get a free one (because.. who doesn’t like free stuff?!) Work wise, I’m a full time Teaching Assistant in Special Educational Needs and a freelance nightclub DJ.
