VROEGER WAS ALLES BETER 2024 Dj Contest Hardstyle Classics Lovers

Life Outside Poker is a new podcast for PokerNews hosted by Connor Richards that seeks to pull back the curtain on poker players and allow viewers and listeners to get to know them on a personal level.

In the 16th episode, Connor speaks with Hustler Casino Live co-founder Ryan Feldman about sports journalism, interviewing star athletes, leaving ESPN to start a poker stream, founding HCL and putting together some of the most entertaining lineups in poker history.

Feldman also shared a story about being kicked out on Day 3 of the 2016 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event despite being one of the biggest stacks of the tournament.

This interview was filmed in July at the 2024 WSOP inside Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.

This DJ duo formerly known as Reverzer and Twin Towers have a long history in the hardstyle scene. Together they have had over a hundred gigs in the north of the Netherlands and played alongside major artists of the scene. 

They share a big love for the classic hardstyle sound and their purpose is to keep that flame burning! Bringing back the golden era!

Coming out of the Hardcore period... 
Silvio Aquila (Arend Hebers) started listening to (hard)trance, hardhouse and techno. But then he discovered Hardstyle!

Silvio Aquila began to mix in 2003 in a local youth centre on the holy Technics turntables.

In 2006 he was asked to join a dj team consisting of 4 dj's & 1 mc, thanks to this he got a chance to present himself to the 'outside world'. Unfortunately this dj-team decided to split up and everybody went their way in 2007...

Afterwards Silvio explored more places in the the Netherlands, abroad and slowly building his reputation. In 2008 he became a resident dj of the well-known online Harder Styles radio FearFM. 

Left his mark on party's like Vroeger Was Alles Beter, Hardclassics, Back2school, Indicator, Decibel and more.These days Silvio Aquila still performs, in the Netherlands and abroad.

Started mixing in 2016, since then i do this weekly. I practice alot with multiple genres of music. 
My favorite genres are Hardstyle, Hardcore and Techno.
Trying to make it so unique as possible, in my own way.
Since my youth I played the drums, djembe, guitar and some piano/keyboard.

Music is my passion and therefor, one of the most important things in life.
