At age 10, inspired by a childhood friend, I discovered beatboxing. This marked the beginning of my musical adventure. I’d practice daily and share new beats I made at school. By age 12, I was immersed in the world of drums, and by 16, my laptop became the gateway to my dreams.

New Years Eve 2013, Destroid was headlining at The Great Saltair in Salt Lake City, Utah. Standing in the crowd at my first event, I knew I wanted to be on that stage. Before long, I had my own copy of Logic Pro, my first digital audio workstation. Even though my classmates weren't always interested, the unwavering enthusiasm from my close friends and family fueled the fire to my flame. I am eternally grateful for those people.

The journey has been challenging, facing struggles with addiction, self-doubt, depression, and moments of feeling lost without a way out. The journey was arduous, and the light at the end of the tunnel was at times invisible. However, I persevered, and I am proud of the place I've reached.

Sound Elixir isn’t just a music project; it’s a journey through sound. Every sound is a new ingredient, Culminating into Flavors for your Eardrums. Forget the boundaries of genres — they are mere rest stops on this expedition. If predictability is your muse, journey on, but for those craving an auditory buffet of the unexpected, step into my world, and revel in the symphony that is Sound Elixir.

Future Astronaut is the life of a dreamer stuck somewhere between dreams and reality. Ambitions aiming towards creating better life and better communities through music, events, and outreach. 🚀

If you come across a track 'without vocals', I produced it. 

If you come across a track 'with vocals', I still produced it, then wrote to it, and then and only then do I take MY music and MY lyrics and run it through Suno AI. This allows me, a long time songwriter/producer, to create demos. I tag "demo" in most of the songs I post here.  This is because I want to sell these to bands/artists, and work with them until the song is complete.

The "Origin: Unknown" album was made this way, with lyrics I had written to beats I produced over 15 years. I did not want to publish music this way, but being 48 years old, I decided to take the risk in hopes to gain attention/exposure so I can write songs this way, using Suno AI to perfect them - but with the intention of helping another band/artist record the song themselves. 

IMPORTANT: I can recreate every single piece of music on this page, for any artists looking to collaborate. 

It's not that I am lazy, or untalented, yet quite the opposite. I have learned over the years how important it is to stay ahead in music technology, and how to use every single tool available to me to eliminate restrictions in my creative process.
