בכל פעם שעוצם עיניים חוזר אותו תסריט,
זה שיאהבו אלה שעוד מאמינים בגיבורים,
והוא מתחיל בירושלים חדר קטן בבית חולים
אבא מחובר לצינורות,
מולו ילד, מסביב כמה דודים.

וככה בלי כישוף, ככה בלי קסמים,
צמח לילד שריון שש טון 
מתחת לבגדים,
והוא גדל לאט לאט הוא לומד לחיות את החיים,
קצת מרביץ קצת גונב,
הטריקים מהקראטה עוזרים.

סוגר את הלב,
עוטף תכאב,
בלילות באות מחשבות
אבל הוא רגיש אז הוא קולט
שגם בני המשפחה
סוחבים שקים וזה כבד,
בתת מודע הופך תקליט
ומעכשיו הוא מגונן.

שומר על אחיו שהולך וחרד,
שומר על אמא שלא תשבר,
ועל הבית שלא יתפרק,
לא לעשות בעיות,
להצטיין.
וכבר בגיל חמש עשרה השרירים שלו גדלים
הילד הופך לנער בעולם המבוגרים.

אז הוא עובד בסבלות, במלצרות
על הקיר יש מדליה מעוד תחרות
וגם בבית ספר מגלים בטעות
שוואלה יש לו ראש.
אבל מה עם הלב הסדוק
ובאיזה כלים מתקנים
ולמה את זה בבית ספר
אף פעם לא מלמדים.

נזרקתי לחיים ידיי היו ריקות,
שרדתי כל אוויר דליל,
מחנק בעליות.
אחרי החושך,
אחרי התהומות,
כבר לא מפחיד אותי למות,
יותר מפחיד לא לחיות.
זה לכל מי שחשד בי שאני אחר,
שקיבלתי את האור שלי 
מן ההפקר,
שהמלאכים ירדו,
השתחוו אמרו ׳אמן,
הוא לא אדם רגיל,
הוא סופר-מן.׳

שמונה עשרה מלאו לנער,
פתאום מכתב מהצבא
בינו לבין אמא נפתחת מלחמת התשה.
אחרי שנים שהמערכת שתתה להורים שלו את הדם
היא רוצה את הילד בבית
בלי דאגות, בלי בלאגן.

אבל הוא לא מוותר
הפעם זה סרט אחר
הוא כותב מכתב ועוד מכתב,
חוצה גדר ועוד גדר
ולבסוף אימו נכנעת,
היא לא מופתעת כשהאות מבשר
על מגרש המסדרים נקבע
הנער לוחם מצטיין.

וכך האגדה מספרת
הוא נבחר לאיזו סיירת
שם כולם עוטים שריון,
מחזיקים אמת כואבת,
שם בתוך תוכו של כל אחד
גדלה פינת סתרים.
ברוך הבא אחי
למועדון הלבבות השבורים.

בלילות יש מארבים, מעצרים,
מלחמה שפורצת מכה בפנים
כל חבר שהלך צורב מבפנים
כמו שמן רותח על יד.
וכשמישהו בא לעזרה
כשמישהו מנסה להבין
הנער עונה בנימוס:
׳יהיה בסדר, סוחבים׳.

זה בא לו בחלומות,
במחשבות,
זה רעב מהבטן ללכת מכות,
התמכרות אל האקשן,
אל הסכנות,
רק להרגיש בחיים.
אבל לפני שאהפוך קלישאתי אהובתי,
היה חשוב לי שתדעי,
כל זה אמת
הנער הזה הוא אני.

נזרקתי לחיים ידיי היו ריקות,
שרדתי כל אוויר דליל,
מחנק בעליות.
אחרי החושך,
אחרי התהומות,
כבר לא מפחיד אותי למות,
יותר מפחיד לא לחיות.

אז אחרי שהתרתי ספקות
הסרתי מליבי מסכות,
ככה באתי אל עולם המוזיקה
בין שיכורים, קוקאין וזונות.
שם גליתי חסרי ביטחון,
שמפחדים מעצמם, 
שמכורים לכפיים,
ולא מצאתי אותי ביניהם
אז נשארתי לבד בינתיים.

עד שהגיעה אישה אחרת,
חכמת לב, טובת עיניים,
שראתה בתוכי כוח על,
שהוא גם קביים גם כנפיים.
שלימדה אותי שבשבר מר
מסתתרים להם גם שמיים,
ולא חשוב כמה חטפתי
העיקר לא הרמתי ידיים.

ולאט שיר ועוד שיר,
למדתי לעצמי להסביר
שכל מה שחוויתי
נועד לי
כדי שאוכל לבסוף להבין,
שרק מי שצעד באפלה ובחושך
יודע באמת מהו אור
שכל תפילה בה ביקשתי לשכוח,
רק גרמה לי לשוב ולזכור.

ואחרי שנפצעתי
היו לי לילות
ששאגתי מתוך החזה
התחלתי לנהל עם אלוהים חשבונות
אם תיתן לי ככה
אני אתן לך את זה.
אך בסתר ליבי השבור השלם
לא היו לי ספקות
כבר לא מפחיד אותי למות
יותר מפחיד לא לחיות.

So Nathaniel Shalom placed together creates “GOD GIFT IS PEACE & JOY” & this is exactly what Nathaniel Shalom is trying to spread to the Earth through music!

Born & raised in Hackney, East London has risen up himself amongst peer pressures & negative energy to become a budding musician solely dedicated to spreading positivity, love, upliftment, motivation & inspiration.

Turning point to becoming a music artist was sadly suffering from depression, anxiety & panic attacks from 2013-2014 due to bad irresponsible habits and also just not being happy with life due to unsuccessful ventures like becoming a football player….

It was via music that Nathaniel began to self heal himself through writing lyrics and expressing how he felt and what was troubling him! Music became his own therapy to let go of painful emotions and feelings that had been harboured up within his mind and spirit!

Fast forward today…. Nathaniel Shalom is using music to heal others through music & and try make a difference wherever possible.
