Our mix series continues with installment number thirty six.

We're happy to welcome Hedstate to our little party!

The brain child of DJ Badly Dressed Boy and producer Just Joolz, Hedstate began in York in the late 90's. 

Over the last two and a half decades the project has undergone many transformations. What started out as a decks and effects style jam between turntables and an MPC eventually evolved into a full live band and energetic DJ crew who spent the early noughties playing nights up and down the country including Breakdown (Nottingham), Pigeonhold (London) and various free parties in and around York. 

Since then they've produced a slew of DJ edits with new member Tom 'Tinkermuffin' Maynard and continue to rock parties up and down the country including being regular favourites at What The? festival since its inception.

Having played and made music together for over 25 years their record collections are understandably varied with Tinkermuffin specialising in all things Reggae and Drum n Bass while Bank of Switches regular, Badly Dressed Boy brings the house and techno vibes. 

Hedstate also have a long running 'Loungecore' mix series which is focussed firmly on the afters.....'Smoke Em If You Got Em' is now up to volume 26 so make sure you check it out...
