This is a song of prayer by Moses and the Israelites after God separated them from their Egyptian masters forever. It extols the steadfast love of God for His people. The language may be archaic but the deliverer, the savior, God, remains the same and love for his people is eternal, to the ends of the earth.

This album, released in May 2021, is an album featuring two new songs by Yang Jeong-mo, a bassist and composer for Jazz Trio [LEVI], and eight performers who show off their high-density performance skills.

The first song and title song of the album, [Hesed], means covenantal love in Hebrew. It expresses that unchanging covenantal love with a lively melody of saxophone and a groovy rhythm. The second song, [Appreciation], is a song expressing gratitude for the teacher's teachings. It is an impressive song with a repetitive melody, a groove-filled rhythm section, and solo trades of bass and guitar.

2021년 5월 발매된 이번 앨범은 Jazz Trio [LEVI]의 베이시스트이자 작곡가로 활동 중인 양정모의 새로운 두 곡과 밀도 높은 연주력을 보여주는 8명의 연주자들이 함께한 앨범이다. 

앨범의 첫 번째 곡이자 타이틀 곡 [Hesed]는 히브리어로 언약적인 사랑을 뜻한다. 변함없는 그 언약적인 사랑을 색소폰의 경쾌한 멜로디와 그루비한 리듬으로 표현하였다. 두 번째 곡 [Appreciation]은 스승의 가르침에 대한 감사함을 표현한 곡이다. 반복적인 멜로디와 그루브 넘치는 리듬 섹션 그리고 베이스와 기타의 솔로 트레이드가 인상적인 곡이다.

Psalm 13 is a lament for a heavy heart, a sorrowful soul that cries out to God, How Long! It is a voice of one in relationship that ultimately trusts in the love and mercy of God, in God's faithfulness and promise of salvation. How blessed we are that God gives us words to express these deep feelings of anguish and fear and in the same breath relieves them.
