3PP 209: March Madness Opening Weekend, NFL QB Moves, Freeland Falcons

What a run for our Clarksville Academy Boys Basketball Squad! They made it all the way to the State Semis! They won their first district title since 2011, made the region final for the first time since the move to D2, and made it to the Final Four for the first time since 2010! What a ride, and the best is yet to come!

Just over a week ago Coach Jeff Parsons, the Hall of Fame Head Coach and Athletic Director at Wethersfield made the most difficult decision of his career, deciding to resign from Wethersfield at the end of the current school year. Coach Parsons has held this position since 2005 and leaves as the School's all time winningest Head Basketball Coach and a beloved leader in the Athletic Department. Coach Parsons is taking on the Athletic Director and Assistant Principal Position at Fulton High School beginning in the fall. Coach joined Sean on The Overtime on WKEI to reflect on his time at Wethersfield, his players, his love of Coaching and what comes next at Fulton.

3PP 218: NBA Conference Finals, Tigers Injuries, PGA Championship, Tedertainment Tonight

3 guys, 3 generations, all from the same mid-Michigan town of Corunna. We all played multiple varsity sports at a high level and are currently working as members of the sports media.

Ted, the Baby Boomer of the bunch, attended Central Michigan University and since the mid 80’s has hosted The Sports Forum radio show and called high school play-by-play of a multitude of sports.

Our Generation-X co-host, Matt Burns, moved on from Corunna where he was a record setting wide receiver and graduated from Grand Valley State University. He now makes his living at ESPN.

Our youngest viewpoints will come from the Millennial of the trio Jerod Fattal. J-Rod starred at quarterback for the Cavaliers graduating in 2017, recently graduated from GVSU, and is working at Bally Sports Detroit.

Along with our unique 3 generation look at sports, pop culture, and current events, we have on a wide variety of guests; from ESPN's Ryan McGee, Ferris St. Head Football coach Tony Annese, media personalities Annie Agar and Wes Blankenship, ESPN Detroit Lions Insider Eric Woodyard, and plenty more!
