Der Song schildert eine Reise durch die schottischen Highlands mit eindrucksvollen Naturbildern – von Bergen und Flüssen über Sonnenschein und Regen bis zu historischen Orten wie Kilchurn Castle und Loch Lomond. Zwischen diesen Erlebnissen steht eine wiederkehrende Lebensbotschaft: Man lebt nur einmal, also soll man das Leben in vollen Zügen genießen, lieben, lachen und dankbar sein. Veränderungen und Vergänglichkeit gehören dazu, doch wie nach jedem Regen folgt wieder Sonne.
