Benny Balance is a Te Whanganui-a-Tara-based producer and DJ whose sound blends slow, weighty grooves with tasteful melodics. Favouring the imperfections of drum machines and hardware, Benny’s music bridges the gap between intimate listening and energising the dancefloor. His EPs have gained support from Rinse FM, Recordeep, Les Yeux Orange and Blue Dollar Billz, to name a few, and his 100% original production mix for Peckham’s Balamii Radio was featured as one of the station’s ‘shows of the month’. A regular at local institution Club 121, spinning across festival stages at Rhythm and Vines, 121 Festival, Northern Bass and Homegrown, whilst also supporting Tom Trago, Harrison BDP, Sally C, and Phasmid, Benny’s not slowing down any time soon.

One more 4hrs lasting nite impressions from Cologne's legendary RAVE CLUB. This 4th RAVE CLUB COLOGNE (1988/89)"TRIBUTE" mixed again by the former RAVE CLUB resident and later Psycho Thrill Cologne founder Claus Bachor. Recorded live at Cologne's 674.fm studios for the monthly "SpyInTheHouse" radio-broadcast on Monday, Fenruary 23nd, 2026. With anotha load of "hard 2 be missed" original BLACK GOLD vinyl-copies from back in those unique '88/'89 dayz only. And where that was actually the only possible way of reconstruction, since the quality of the original old MAXWELL tapes was unfortunately so "down" that they could no longer be remastered (the TDK tapes were always better!).

PSYCHO THRILL Cologne-founder CLAUS BACHOR is one of the German long-term House and Techno DJs at all, and as friends in Detroit say "he's been doing this as long as anybody else that we know! His sets can range from classic Disco & old school House classics all the way to the darkest, bangin' techno that you've ever heard!" However, he's not standing still yet: The Psycho Thrill club and vinyl label run by him has just turned 25 and Bachor is still doing bookings all over Europe, the United States and beyond. 

His long-term affiliations with Detroit techno music and also his journalistic involvement with the topic of Detroit Techno/ Electro/ Chicago-House as an author/editor over the years has made him a world renowned expert. This experience and vast knowledge of the techno genre has led him to appearing in many documentaries, the most noteable being 'High Tech Soul' [ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddh88l_57Bk ] which focused on the creation of Detroit techno music. Other film credits include being involved in the highly acclaimed 'We Call it Techno' [ https://www.discogs.com/Various-We-Call-It-Techno/release/1388974   //   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWPFrWojYQ4 ] documentary which focused on Germany's early techno scene and club culture. 

Without using the usual hype for trends, he has managed to gain a position as multi-communicator in the German Techno and House scene, in which he is always convincing as a DJ.
