Recently @temporal_drift announced that they'll be repressing his album Surround, originally made for pre-fab housing developer Misawa to give away to customers who bought their homes. 🏡 I thought it would be fun to go through some of his music ahead of the release on my radio show.

Known as an early pioneer of environmental music, many of Yoshimura's albums were designed to be played inside urbanized spaces like museums and fashion runways. His music was meant to enhance the spaces surrounding the listener.

Yoshimura's approach to ambient music is tranquil and minimal, bringing bliss to listeners who are more often than not disconnected from nature in an increasingly urban setting. 🌿🌳🐝" - @atrevid000

"The Implicate Order of the Sea" is analog and modular generative piece of music, with no structure of its own, that even resonates with my dreams of reading David Bohm.

David Joseph Bohm was a scientist who has been described as one of the most significant theoretical physicists of the 20th century and who contributed unorthodox ideas to quantum theory, neuropsychology and the philosophy of mind.
