I met @hss-2 in Tokyo in Summer 2019, along with Yama, Takanori and Takashi. Hisashi was my first friend in Tokyo and he introduced me to the city's incredible nightlife. At the end of my time there he invited me to a party in a curry restaurant at the top of a skyscraper by the sea. One of the best nights of my life!

Princess Mononoke (Joe Hisashi) - Piano Cover

Recorded the beautiful piano soundtrack "One Summer's Day" from the 2001 Japanese animated fantasy film "Spirited Away," composed by Joe Hisashi.  This piano cover is similar to Hisashi's own solo performance at his live concert, though there are some subtle differences in my interpretation of the work.  Anyway, hope you enjoy it! :)

The music from this movie is very ethereal and moving (as of most Studio Ghibli movies!), and I really loved the soundtrack. the culmination of years of composition and notes of various ideas and musical styles. 
Musical references range from J-Rock / Visual Kei (Luna Sea, Kuroyume, the Gazette, 
Shazna and Zi:Kill) to Alternative Rock (The Smiths, New Order, Type O Negative, 
Siouxsie and the Banshees and The Stranglers) .
