In the third installment of our One Hit Wonders round, we listened to Blu Cantrell's debut album, So Blu.
The album was released in 2001 and featured the very famous and very awesome song "Hit em' up Style (Oops!)". But what about the rest of the album? Equally awesome? Well, that's what we endeavored to find out this month as we dissected So Blu. Does Blu Cantrell deserve to be better known for her body of work? Was she done dirty? DENDY is DJ & music producer from Zuberec, Slovakia.

He has been passionate about music in general from a really young age, but started to discover electronic music at the age of 12, when he got to watch some of the UK music channels on TV. Because of this, he started to learn about DJ-ing by watching dj sets on youtube. 

In 2015 he got his first DJ gig and from then on, he started to perform in the clubs and venues occasionally. His passion for DJ-ing got him into making mashups and finally, music production.
As he was always iterested in variety of genres, his tracks were often in lots of different genres as well.

Recently DENDY has started to gain recognition with his latest productions in the style of modern tech-house, which resulted in tech-house sound becoming his signature...

In terms of DJ-ing, DENDY is recently performing in variety of clubs and at festivals all over Slovakia & Czech Republic.

Kevin McDaid is an Irish house producer and DJ from Cork. He has been releasing tracks since 2021, and his music is influenced by the likes of Alex Hobson, Belters Only, and Seamus D.

In early 2023 after consistently posting track after track, he had his first independent release My Lovin' go viral everywhere, especially on TikTok, Spotify and Soundcloud. Now on all his releases, he has amassed over 10 million streams on all platforms.

He made his home debut gig at the start of 2024, warming up for NewEra in Cyprus Avenue.
