I was honored to play at midnight on NYE 2022. Got invited to play at a free party in Groningen at a 2 stage event in and old farm. The first hour is classic Hitech vibes and the second half is Darkpy/Psycore. It was scheduled to be a 2H set but when the artist after me had fallen asleep I had to extent the set with some freestyle mixing [from 01:55 the extended part begins].

Once a key figure in the underground music scene, Code Chaos played an integral role in shaping Abstract Sound Design and Psymotion Events, helping to build these forces that now echo through the scene. However, after countless releases that left their mark, Code Chaos has shifted focus to the more private aspects of life. Now, the music comes sporadically, as the soul behind the sound retreats from the limelight, leaving behind only rare glimpses of the chaos that once defined them. The music is still there, but no longer driven by the constant push for more. Instead, it emerges as a reflection of a personal journey, quiet and intimate, with only the echoes of the past reverberating through the soundwaves.

To all the Chaos Kidz and supporters of Abstract Sound Design, Acid Manufacture, WAV Untergrundmusik & Psymotion Events—thank you for being part of this journey over the last years. After countless releases, I’ve stepped back to focus on more personal projects, but I couldn't leave without sharing a little more of the chaos with you. IDIOBLAST a.k.a. Mats Weel, born in 1989, had his first experience with fast psychedelic music in 2011. Instantly intrigued by how the high BPM music affected his state of mind, he started collecting music fanatically. After graduating Academy of Fine Arts in 2012 he spend numerous years experimenting with different art forms. It was not until early 2017 that he discovered his true passion behind the decks. Because of his education he has a conceptual approach to his sets and a focus on thematic track selection. He aims to deliver polished and energetic sets, and tries to find a balance between variety and coherency. 

Founded Amsterdam Blast Events in 2019.
