Since its debut in 2017, Damian Lazarus’ annual ‘SPIRITS’ series on Crosstown Rebels has been a beacon for breakthrough artists, setting the label’s agenda for the year ahead. The sixth instalment in February is another meticulously curated lineup with ‘SPIRITS VI’ featuring a blend of new and recognisable talents, including Lauren Lane, Cristina Lazic, Iñigo Vontier, AJ Christou and many more.

London-based talent Cameron Jack kicks off what looks set to be a breakout year with ‘The Vision’, a bubbly and tropical cut with cosmic synths and loose, jumbled rhythms. Chris Bowl then brings his emotional style to the deep, rolling beats and fresh melodies of ‘Silent Plain’, while NY-born, LA-based house tastemaker Lauren Lane layers in smoky pads and tender whispers to her sublime deep house cut, ‘Fair Game.’ Next, German talent and Degree Records head Marc Lenz brings darker vibes to his track ‘People Are People’, while Rebellion artist Cristina Lazic and previous Lazarus collaborator Leia Contois combine for the alluring vocal soul and gritty minimal drums of ‘So Deep’.

Next is influential Manchester-based DJ/producer AJ Christou, who has released on the likes of Hot Creations and Cuttin’ Headz. His track ‘Back & Forth’ brings an infectious groove with plenty of flair and catchy drum funk, before TMPLE shuts things down with the deft, airy grooves and floating bass of ‘The Girl In The Room’, complete with its tender male vocals.

At the forefront of electronic innovation, Crosstown Rebels stands as a pivotal platform and record label, reflecting the genre’s diversity and housing an impressive roster that includes renowned artists and household names like Art Department, Maceo Plex, and Jamie Jones. Australian producer and DJ Aidan Bega is well celebrated across the club circuit, with signature house hues, dynamic production and a daydream catalogue of records for house music devotees. In and out of clubs in his hometown of Sydney and beyond, from Ultra Music Festival Miami to renowned European beach clubs, he has left a bona fide mark, lining up with tastemakers such as Axwell, Erick Morillo, Calvin Harris and more. Exploring distinct frontiers in his electronic music career, Aidan found his true passion, lending his talent to house music enthusiasts and industry pioneers alike, with records such as 'Funky Punch' & ‘I’mma Be There’, attaining support from some of the scene’s true pioneers. Providing much-desired club content, Aidan Bega headlined one of Europe’s most inaugural sunrise dance spots in 2019- Cavo Paradiso Mykonos, aptly the exact establishment he fell in love with house music years before. He also played previously at the island’s late abode-Paradise Club. 2019 closed out at Festival X Sydney, alongside Camelphat, MK, Kolsch and Nic Fanciulli, welcoming a new season’s bank of infectious music from the studio to the stage.

RAYZIR (an anagram of his first name Yarriz) is a promising multi-talented DJ, producer and vocalist from Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
 
Born in 1991, he is a true ‘90s kid and grew up in a time when electronic music was on the rise. His involvement in this growing music culture from its beginning has made him a multi-faceted electronic musician with a deep understanding of the history of dance music, alongside all the different genres music has to offer. He has gained support from the likes of industry heavyweights such as Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, Michael Bibi and Loco Dice, to name a few.

RAYZIR has now signed on top quality labels such as Elrow, Nervous, South of Saturn, MUSE, TBX, Avotre, Microhertz, Cuff and counting, has reached the top 5 on Beatport with his music alongside Miguel Lobo and has had airtime on BBC Radio 1. He has worked on collaborations with those at the top of the scene internationally including Emanuel Satie, Reelow, Iglesias, Proudly People and Daniel Orpi, amongst others. 

In 2022, during Amsterdam Dance Event, he was even selected as one of the ‘The Future Of Dance’ artists worldwide by 1001Tracklists.

He has performed in Europe’s biggest Elrow Town Festival in The Netherlands where he resides, and is one of the artists on the line up of Amsterdam’s critically acclaimed Straf_Werk Festival, also having played in multiple clubs around the world from Romania and Serbia to Bali. 

RAYZIR is known for his uplifting energy behind the decks, combining the art of DJing with multiple turntables and live remixes. His style is not limited to one genre but is best described as groovy house music with a flavour of deep, tech, South-American and African influences.

Born a proud Londoner with Scottish roots from a family that has been involved in music for generations, it is no surprise that Sasha GiGi chose music as her way of life. Inspired by her family’s musical heritage, GiGi embarked on a journey of her own which began at The University of Bristol where she harnessed her skills in songwriting and also fell in love with the dance music. Her obsession of collecting records led her to have her own radio show and discover the art of DJ’ing.

After leaving university, GiGi embraced her love of electronic music and began her dream of becoming a worldwide touring DJ and producer. Since then, Sasha has been making her way around the dance music scene, achieving two seminal milestones in the early stages of her career: Playing at the worlds #1 Club Hi Ibiza and making her international debut in San Francisco.
Since then, Sasha GiGi has been locked in the studio developing her own sound which landed her first EP - Sugardaddy by UK powerhouse Edible Records, home to the UKs finest up and coming talent.
