A UAEnative and 10 year music veteran, Q’s mission is to create great music from the Middle East and share it with the rest of the world. Prince Q has stamped his indelible imprint on the UAE music scene since the mid-1990s. Respected all over the Middle East music scene Prince Q, whose musical influences cross cultural lines, has also been sought after by a number of international artists and superstars.
Q started his professional musical career in 2005 at Creative Kingdom studios where he learned to work in a professional studio setting and expanded his proficiency in LOGIC Pro, Native instruments, MIKO, Morgana, Analog Factory, Reason, Pro Tools, EMU and more. While at Creative, Q produced tracks on Canadian artist Karl Wolf’s “Bite The Bullet”, the album which won Karl MTV Europe’s Best Newcomer, Middle East. He also produced singles for American rapper Snoop Dogg and British pop artist Simon Webbe, a member of the hit group BLUE. At this early stage in his career, Q merged his passion for music with his love of film by scoring the Emirati film “TINA” and the UAE’s first CGI/Sci-Fi film “LEVITY: Xero Error” which was in competition at Cannes 2010.

He remained at Creative Kingdom for five years working with commercial clients and local artists when in 2011 he was hired as MBC Network’s Platinum Records A&R Manager. At Platinum, he worked closely with artists from the GCC such as Qusai and Rojeh, produced the MTV HiHopna compilation album, developed the existing roster, scouted for new talent and liaised with all departments including marketing, publicity, sales, finance and legal. Q also set the overall policy for the label and took part in career decisions regarding high profile and new artists. Additionally, he headed the new age music and media department and supervised music for MBC’s TV shows.
Two years after Platinum, Q’s lifelong friend Marwan Al-Awadhi “DJ Bliss” decided to set up Bliss Inc. Entertainment and have these two Emirati musical talents join forces in producing award-winning and chart-topping music. At Bliss Inc., Q produced the Chrysler 2013 campaign starring “Dj Bliss”, McDonald’s Big Mac Campaign for Leo Burnett, produced five songs on 3-time Grammy award winner Wyclef Jean’s albums “Mid-life Crisis” and “Refugee Republic”, Emirati soul/pop artist Hamdan Al-Abri, UK pop artist Ramzi, U.S. artist MIMS, U.S. Hip Hop artist Styles-P and Canadian artist Kardinal Offishall.
