The next transmission of the Psylife series features French psytrance pioneer Hyper Frequencies who prepared a strong, tribal and mesmerizing mix for the radiOzora listeners exclusively with his own music. From Thursday, 17th April 8pm onwards on the Trance channel, don't miss it...

Gilles Beraud known under the name of Hyper Frequencies started his career in the 80s, as a bass player in a rock band which already had a psychedelic flavor. He then discovered electronic music, started to mix in 1994 and followed with producing music from 1998. It is in 2003 that his first solo album ”Red Crystal Moon” is released on Mechanik Sound Records. At the end of 2007, his second album comes out: ”Phantasmatika” under Syncronize Records. In between the launch of the two albums, he skimed the dance floors of our planet and played on all the scene of the most renown festivals such as Boom, Antaris, Universo Parallelo, Ozora, Rhythms of Peace, Hadra, Eclipse, Shanti Jatra and Timegate just to name a few. As of today, he counts to his credit more than 30 visited countries, 70 tracks on 25 different labels such as Mechanik Records, Hadra, Spirit Zone, Peak, Parvati, Syncronize, Mandala or Psylife Records. His 3rd opus solo album “In Spiritus” has come out on Mandala last year, as always in his own personal style, a strong, tribal and mesmerizing psytrance sound.

we start that track in Casablanca ... a looong time ago ... after a loooong night of free secret party in the house of the Doc.... i played around 10 hours, then crash in a bed and ALT continue playing 
when I wake up , i had nothing to do (everybody were sleeping, except Mimi that was still dancing & singing ... so i start recording her voice  , and start a track ....
then a couple of years later, we continue working on it with Hyper Gill in his studio
the second evening, we escape for a "quick" barbecue in his brother garden, .. and finally came back ... late in the night =>>> fucking drunk 
ahahahaha
i have to mention, that Gill leave in south of France, in the middle of amazing red wine fields !
This holly red wine is call : St Joseph
when i played the first version to Mimi during a Transahara Festival, i explain her why "St Jo"
she laugh and say: funny: my school in Casablanca was call "St Joseph"
...
finally i find time this winter to fusion that track with "Cosmic Debris" of Gill
so here is the 
Cristal de St Jo .... you know.... that "wine's cristal" that you find ... sometime at the bottom of a good oak barrel ;o)

Addicted to sonic explorations since the middle of the 80th .... 

Start to produce "Psychedelic Industrial Dance Music" in 1993.

From 95 till 2002 he strongly contributes to create a psy scene in south Sweetzerland (organizing events, mainly in Alps mountains - Psyberpunk Corp) and Run till 2004 a weekly Psy Show on the National Swiss Radio (Couleur 3)

He explore also: sculpture, decoration, graphism & audio-visual 
his passion since 2010 are 
► energy and food self-sufficiency 
►permaculture gardening

He released tracks on labels such as: Return to the source, Peak Rec, PARVATI, WorldPeople (feat. Parasense), Sangoma rec (feat. Hyper Frequencies), Temple Twister Rec (feat. Drumatik),  Moonloop Rec (feat. Electrypnose), ....

He played in Festivals such as: Zoom, Boom, Exodus, Modem, KhoPhangan, Transahara,...

A meticulous selection of qualitative tracks, that he re-edit transform in loops anr rebuild in fonction of the dance floor
This quest of sounds bring him into all Goa's sub-genres from Tribal-Dark-Prog till Twisted-Forest-Trance.
But the essential part in a PsyberpunK’s set is the story and usually it is hypnotically psychedelic !
