Hyper Sonic

RadonNoize x Nisalo - Hyper Sonic

Years ago, I did my own version of the soundtrack of the original Sonic the Hedgehog game and although I love it to pieces, it is the second game in the series that I love more fondly. I also rearranged/composed elements for my own version of the game's soundtrack last year, which turned out better than I'd hoped.

I have also done my own version of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 but as we know, that game is divided into two halves: Sonic the Hedgehog 3 plus Sonic & Knuckles. Here is the much overdue second half of my own versions of these classic tracks. I hope you enjoy going fast and speedy along these renditions.

Sonic & Knuckles starts off where the last half ended; Sonic has to race across more zones to prevent Dr. Robotnik (or Eggman) from resurrecting the fallen Death Egg Zone. This is it, the final showdown or rather the final chase. Sonic, with the help of Knuckles, destroys the power generator of the Death Egg and it begins to break apart. However, an unyielding Dr. Robotnik grabs the Master Emerald in his Egg Robot and launches himself away from the disintegrating space station. Intent on escaping and getting as far away from the hedgehog and echidna, Sonic uses the power of the Chaos Emeralds to transform into Super Sonic (or Hyper Sonic with the addition of collecting the Super Emeralds) and dashes through space to pursue and stop the diabolical madman. Gotta go FAST!!!
This tune sounds menacing, that the fate of the world is on the line if Robotnik escapes. Again, the bass is awesome and the themes of going fast is ever-present.

Oh yeah, I renamed the tune as a nod to my favourite sci-fi show, Doctor Who :).

DIAL DOWN TO DOOMSDAY ZONE (FINAL BOSS)

As much as I enjoy the Sonic and Knuckles theme motifs, the Sonic 3 ones are really cool too, and they may even be my favorite of the two. Regardless, I wanted to make a theme for the what-if scenario  of there being a separate Super Sonic theme *and* a separate Hyper Sonic theme. The goal was to use S3 motifs with flavors of S&K scattered throughout, ultimately making for a less repetitive yet still exciting take on S3's "Super" theme, which is really just the Invincibility music. I may come back to explore what a Super Sonic theme would be (although this could work for both forms), but for now, please enjoy this piece I really enjoyed working through.

Hi there! I’m Noah, a young man who is, first and foremost, a follower of Yeshua the Messiah who belongs to YeHoVaH the Most High. Consequently, it is my desire to please Him in all I do. My former name for my SoundCloud was “AMusicalExplorer”.

I have always greatly liked music since I was little and what all can be communicated through it. I’m at most a beginner with music, but I desire to explore it, and by that I mean, explore writing music, trying out different compositions of songs that have already been written (remixes or mashups, one may say), and also growing in my understanding of music (not everyone starts out a pro, of course).
