In this first LP, 'Ryefield Society' combines naive melodies and anxious beats to explore the feelings of adulting. An intimate portrait depicted under city lights by blurry guitars and minimal pianos."

Behind the moniker 'Ryefield Society' hides a French one-man project, delivering intimate electronic music composed of melancholic melodies, abstract textures and downtempo beats. After an inaugural tape EP on Spleencore Records in 2020 and contributions to diverse compilations, 'Ryefield Society' releases an introspective first LP on Huinali Recordings in 2023.

김태연 작가는 소리의 측면에서 사물을 발견하고 청각적 경험을 제공하는 작업을 해오고 있다.
일상의 사물이나 사연 있는 사물들을 증폭시켜 자연의 소리, 또는 인공적인 소리와 결합시켜 다른 세계의 소리로 만들어낸다.

그의 작업에서 자주 이용되는 방식은 다양한 사물을 하나의 박스에 모으거나 사물을 매달아 발생하는 소리들로 즉흥적이면서도 예측 불가한 소리를 연주하여 만들어낸다.
작가의 소리들은 실험적인 요소를 가지고 있으며 다양한 분야의 전시와 공연에서 사용되고 있다.
