After years in the making, we are beyond excited to unveil one of the most anticipated releases in the history of Universal Tribe Records, a project that pays tribute to the legacy of a modern classic while breathing new life into its story.

Originally sparked during Freedom Fighters’ debut tour of Australia, Australiens quickly evolved into an iconic collaboration with progressive techno powerhouses Martin Vice & Michael Banel (MVMB). The track was later released in 2016 as part of MVMB’s debut album on Iboga Records, capturing a moment in time that merged the raw, open energy of the Australian scene with an international touch of cinematic psychedelia.

Now, nine years on, we’ve been granted the rare opportunity to reimagine this masterpiece with a signature Universal Tribe twist. What has emerged is a remix compilation that honours the past while surging forward, a curated celebration of Bush Prog brought to life by some of Australia’s most respected pioneers and the next generation of sonic storytellers, artists known for delivering the finest sounds our scene has to offer.

Featuring transformative remixes by Pspiralife, Ryanosaurus, Sumiruna, Scionaugh, and Doonz, this release brings a fresh, driving perspective to a timeless track, layered, deep, and completely dialled in to the unique rhythm of the Australian bush.

One thing’s for sure: with this release, the journey doesn’t stop,

Koiaa is a Melbourne-based DJ known for weaving immersive journeys that move between light and dark, playful and deep. Her sets blend hypnotic atmospheres with a driving techno edge, balancing raw energy with subtle emotion. From iconic clubs to festivals like Esoteric and underground bush doofs, Koiaa’s sound is always evolving—unpredictable, boundary-crossing, and alive in the moment.

A project borne of curiosity and sonic exploration, Scionaugh brings together a perfect balance of alien, instrumental, and organic sounds that are equal parts groovy, driving and playful, the sonic sorcery of Scionaugh provides a dancefloor experience like no other. 

The notorious mad scientist of Australian bush prog is renowned for his knowledge of sound theory and mathematics, something immediately evident in the clean complexity of his production. 

Throughout his career as a producer, Scionaugh has enchanted dancefloors across major festivals, including Earth Frequency, Esoteric, Elements, Bohemian Beatfreaks, Twisted Frequency NZ, Elysium, Groove and Bass CAN, and Wild Horses. Along these adventures, he has performed alongside scene heavyweights including Grouch, Electrypnose, Twisted Sibling, Pspiralife, Ryanosaurus, Sumiruna, Smilk, and Sensient.

Dj Technodelic  from the vibrant heart of Far North Queensland, channeling over 20 years of deep immersion in underground electronic music. Guided by an intuitive connection to sound and a lifelong love of the dancefloor, she weaves immersive sonic journeys thru psychedelic techno soundscapes.

Her sets are a hypnotic fusion of progressive rhythms, minimal grooves, and lush melodic textures—a fluid exploration moving seamlessly between light and shadow. With a finely tuned ear and an unwavering dedication to the craft, Technodelic has been steadily carving out her own unique niche within FNQ’s underground scene. Her dynamic performances speak to the intelligent listener, thoughtful, immersive and ever evolving.

Eukai, first project of the producer Yuval Klein, emerged from a curiosity and simple love for sound nurtured during his global travels and years living in Australia. That's where he discovered the realms of Dark Prog, Zenonesque, Bush & Psy Tech, and started DJing at Australian bush doofs and festivals. Inspired by this immersion, Yuval returned to his home country in order to study sound and music production in Tel Aviv &  with leading Talents of the local scene. Eukai's music merges deep hypnotic bass lines with techno elements, creating swampy, psychedelic soundscapes that break genre boundaries and showcase his unique style.

Music's always been my compass, guiding me through life's stages with a soundtrack of diverse genres. But in 2023, a series of events threw me off course. Decisions became battles, actions etched scars. Pain, guilt, loss – it threatened to drown me.

Music, my best friends, and my boys became my lifeline during my darkest days. With them by my side, music wasn't a choice anymore, it was a necessity that dragged me back to the light. Now, I'm finally pursuing this lifelong passion by expressing myself through my own creations: mash-ups and long, moody mixes. This is my therapy, a raw and honest expression of my emotions. Through these sounds, I hope we can all connect in a unique and personal way.

Trance has been my lifeblood since the '90s, but lately, psytrance has stolen my heart! Look out for my genre-bending progressive psytrance journeys.
