Phineas Gage, was a man who suffered a tragic accident when a railroad spike he was tampering explosives with, went through his head. His personality changed. Phineas Gauge liken the spike to music, altering their fundamental nature, in an utterly profound way.  

     We humbly invite you to better acquaint yourself with our rather eclectic music of which we are very passionate. It makes us think of mold growing atop a fancy pair of leather shoes while trudging through the jungle. It is like being huddled next to a trouble light for warmth, while sleeping in a rolled up rug in a garage, in the middle of winter.

Peter Cope is a student at Brigham Young University. He plays trombone, piano, drums, and guitar, and he sings. He has performed in countless ensembles, including the BYU Marching Band and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.

Peter wrote and published his first song, "Where Am I Going To?," with the help of his friend Trent Reeder (plutobit), during his senior year of high school. He did this while serving as the senior drum major of his high school marching band.

Peter's musical influences include The Beatles, Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Electric Light Orchestra, Queen, Coldplay, John Mayer, The Beach Boys, and Jack Johnson. His songs span a wide range of genres, including rock, pop, funk, folk, and gospel. He has at times collaborated with other artists (Reagan Keys, James Cope), but in most of his songs, he plays every instrument and sings every part. He seeks to create songs that are uplifting, relatable, and fun to listen to.

From June 2021 to June 2023, Peter went on a hiatus to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Colorado, which he considers his greatest accomplishment.
