With an incisive passion for the dark side, Identity Records founder Adam Henton aka DIS:TURBED has been systematically laying down his signature style of disturbing Dnb, bringing along a slew of like-minded artists via his label's output. While the energy he evokes is negative based, there is always a solid rhythm and flow that drives the music forward: it is often upbeat and focuses on the stripped back aesthetic. Using a minimal amount of instruments along with layers processed with extreme pressure, he has forged a unique sound best described as a dark toned chest-heavy vibe.
