This is a meditation style vocal example focused on creativity. 

I created this for my portfolio as a voice actress. Would love to do more of this sort of calming and creativity-sparking work. If you have a meditation style script you'd like me to read, feel free to email or message me. 

It would also make me happy if people put some music to this or whatever they wanted. Feel free to download it, remix and even sell your remix. So if you choose to do so, just credit me and let me know, please. :)

I recorded it in 2021 and was able to recover a file that I had previously thought was lost in a data loss tragedy. I improvised by combining several examples of breathing exercises and relaxation techniques, but I don't remember about the original source of the town scenario. I haven't been able to track down the examples I based this off anymore, but if that's found, I'll link it here.

Mostly these days I play synth, sing, and voice act.

I am engaged to my band partner @rob-ulysses, who's an amazing musician and so fun to work with.

Instruments I know how to play: Piano, cello, flute, and synth. (although I no longer have a cello or a flute).
Gear I use: Roland Gaia SH-01, a Korg microKey midi controller, Reason Compact, the DAW called LMMS, and Figure.

I've become addicted to drone. Again. I was the kid with his head on the piano, listening to the overtones die away, or pressing his ear to the steel hull of the ferry, enthralled by the sounds it created. I was the kid who formed wordless songs to accompany the sound of train wheels on a long journey, or hummed along with the fan on a hot day.

In the 60s I used to play my 45s on 16, or backwards, or by hand using razor blades as stylii.

I made cut-up tapes on a cheap cassette recorder in the 70s and experimented with reel-to-reel in the 80s.

I am not a musician. I am a scavenger of sounds. I use the most basic software to process those sounds, stretching and filtering until something emerges that makes a joyful noise. Or not...
