This is a another song written during the pandemic in 2022. It's about the joy of reading! I know we don't read hardly anymore that's why we are pretty ignorant about science and math, look it up, don't take my word for it!! I still enjoy reading, it sparks my creativity, and opens up my imagination! It's really fabulous the trips we can make with our imagination by just reading. I whipped up seveal tales and weaved them all together into a Rock song. It is also about what happens to unread books that just turn to dust on our shelves. (Read H.G. Wells "The Time Machine" or at least watch the 1960 film!). I guess we will soon have no need for libraries!  Just I-phones! This is an adventure song, my Indiana Jones song!

      The video is brand new with loads of eye-candy for everybody. I thnk I finished it a few months ago. It'll take you on several exciting adventures!! I hope people enjoy it, we must continue to read books because when we stop reading books, then we will stop having independent thought and we become nothing more than brain dead sheep!  I'm sure that's what some evil people actually want! (Look what they did to Jimmy Kimmel!!). Read a book before they censor them and take them away! It focuses specifically on chapters 1 and 2 of the work, where he develops a clearly committed empiricist and materialist epistemology, which begins with sense perception which then gives rise to imagination and memory, which can also then lead to dreams, experience, and other more complex phenomena.

This lecture discusses key ideas from the modern philosopher Thomas Hobbes' work Leviathan

It focuses specifically on first part of chapter 8 where he discusses what he calls "intellectual virtues", meaning the abilities of the mind that people praise, which he frames in terms of "wit", and distinguishes into natural and artificial. Natural wit in turn is divided into fancy which focuses upon similarities and judgement which focuses on differences. Judgement is more important that fancy for wit.
