Crumble is a female character I create for my role-playing games like The Elder Scrolls Online, Baldur's Gate 3, Starfield, and many other RPGs. She tends to have a dark demeanor, but she's also humorous. However, she's not a killer and always speaks the truth, no matter how painful it may be. She's cheeky and has a sharp tongue. Crumble has been accompanying me in my role-playing adventures for years, and I have a lot of fun with her. It's time she gets her own theme from me. Thanks, Crumble! Even though you only exist on my screen, in my games, and in my head, you're simply wonderful 😊

25 years after I finished the last of my goa trance tracks I'd been making in Impulse Tracker back in the late 1990s, this collection finally sees the light of day. The tracks here quite literally tell a musical tale of myself as a 17-18 year old teenager who was introduced to a completely unbelievable music style in 1997 at the tender age of 16. Starting off with a bonus track made in December 2000 as a throwback to a style in which I made several tracks around spring 1998, the rest of this collection covers a time span from September 1998 to May 1999, from space themed melodic goa trance coming gradually down to earth and ending up in a murky forest.

"As a little "bonus entry" I wasn't originally planning to submit for Winter Chip XX, I dug my archives and wrapped up this older / previously abandoned tune I think I was originally working on for one of the previous Winter Chip compos, but with 8kb category / size limit in mind. With the slightly more relaxed 12kb size limit, I put now the missing touches to their place and finished the tune. Didn't need any munch.py or similar treatments either this time around."

"Warlord - Anthem For The Metallurky" - a tracked metal / chiptune metal vibed tune I wrote in June 2025 for the Battle Of The Bits "Spring Tracks XIV"-compo / classic DOS module-category. Written with OpenMPT in .it / Impulse Tracker-module format. 

I dedicate tune to all the old tracked #metalscene farts. You know who you are :) As for the song title - Metallurky was one of the central archive & review type of sites for tracked metal modules back in the 00s.

4 channels and .IT format? You guys are total junkies! Some of the most senseless compo rules I've ever seen!
More of a tech demo than a full-fledged work, since it is clearly not a complete tune. So, the whole point of this work is to intentionally abuse the capabilities of the .IT format, formally remaining within the rules. The drums had to be baked "in the Amiga style" into one loop and they ate up a lot of space. If it weren't for the limitation on the number of channels, the melody would be much better quality and weigh much less. Surely it can be compressed more, but this requires much more time and a lot of experimentation.

I primarily write my music using various tracker programs and unless otherwise stated in the track description, the sounds aim to be authentic to the target format/platform and no external post-processing is used (except e.g. adding fadeouts to renders of infinitely looping tracks).

Most of the music I share here consists of recordings of songs I wrote a long time ago.  

I've done my best to adjust the sound, though I have to admit that mixing has never been my strong suit, I’ve always enjoyed creating the songs more than refining them.  

I haven't had the chance to write new music yet, but I hope to change that soon!
