This is an indie-folk / stripped-down version of an otherwise upbeat indie-rock track that I've just released in November. Given the season, it tends to get a bit gloomy and introspective with some strong hints of January Blues. It also works as a stand-alone song as its gloomy aesthetics and moody atmosphere go well with the song's overall message: Life is what happens to us while we're busy making rushed decisions (strongly paraphrasing here).

Jupiter Reign, also known as Thaydra Gray, is Nova Scotia’s next rising star in R&B. She is a ANSMA 2024 Single of the Year and 2023 ANSMA Rising Star award winner, as well as 3-time ANSMA nominee and Music Nova Scotia African-Canadian Artist of the Year nominee.
In October of 2022, she debuted her theatrical abilities and starred as the main character in the premier of “Love, Peace and Hairgrease”, which ran at Alderney Landing Theatre.  
After receiving a spotlight while backing up Jocelyn Alice, she has been popping up on the club circuit, as a “must-have” on every other show.  
With her debut EP “Intergalactic”, influences can be heard from Keyshia Cole, Kehlani, Summer Walker and SZA.
