Pour mieux comprendre comment l’Union européenne transforme le quotidien des Lyonnais·es, la Ville de Lyon, en partenariat avec EUROPE DIRECT Lyon Métropole, propose à huit jeunes adultes de partir à la rencontre de l’Europe dans leur ville et au-delà, à travers un programme mêlant découverte, mobilité et engagement citoyen. A Lyon du 30 juin au 4 juillet, puis à Turin du 7 au 11 juillet.

Par cette initiative, la Ville de Lyon souhaite participer à la construction d’une Europe proche, vivante et accessible, en donnant aux jeunes les moyens d’en devenir pleinement acteurs.

Pendant ces quinze jours d'immersion, les jeunes participant·e·s réalisent des podcasts afin de vous emmener avec eux dans cette folle aventure ! Dans cette épisode, vous pourrez écouter

In this session from the New Discourses event 'Saving American Liberty,' Michael O’Fallon argues that global political, corporate, and religious institutions are jointly reshaping Western society through “degrowth” policies, sustainability mandates, and ideological frameworks like ESG and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, which he sees as mechanisms for centralizing control and limiting individual freedom. He contrasts the West’s self-imposed economic contraction with China’s expansion through the Belt and Road Initiative, claiming this shift empowers China while weakening America’s global position. O’Fallon warns that identity-based conflicts, migration pressures, and urban destabilization are fragmenting Western societies into competing tribal enclaves, leaving them vulnerable to foreign influence. He concludes that COVID-era restrictions, digital surveillance, and AI-driven governance signal a broader transition from a merit-based, liberty-oriented system to one that demands ideological compliance from both citizens and institutions.

EP. 8 | L'insertion par l'activité économique : Comment l'activité économique peut-elle transformer des parcours ?

Julio Amarilla, integrante de la Selección Paraguaya de Fútbol de Talla Baja, habló con Radio Tribuna y Radio Oñondivepá sobre la reciente consagración en la Copa América de Talla Baja, donde Paraguay se coronó bicampeón tras una final dramática definida por penales. Amarilla destacó el esfuerzo del equipo, los 24 goles de Pedro Benítez y el apoyo del público que llenó el Comité Olímpico Paraguayo. También resaltó la importancia de la inclusión, el trabajo de las familias y el crecimiento de la disciplina en el país. La selección se prepara ahora para la Copa del Mundo, que se disputará en noviembre en Marruecos.
