This set was recorded live on the night of June 29th, 2024 at Gorg-O-Mish After Hours in Vancouver where Shadowfigure played a 90-min opening set for Anthony Attalla to warmup the dance floor for Anthony's 3-hour set.

Released in 2010 on Incorrect Music, "I See" by Gabriel Ben became an instant dancefloor weapon, standing out with its infectious, driving beat and razor-sharp tech stabs that had crowds bouncing from the very first drop. This track is a masterclass in creating tension and release, with a relentless groove that hooks listeners in and doesn't let go.

From the outset, "I See" makes its intentions clear: it’s designed to move bodies. The bassline is deep and thumping, providing a solid foundation, while the stripped-back percussion grooves with precision. But what really gives this track its standout quality is the infectious tech stabs that punctuate the rhythm, cutting through the atmosphere like a knife. These stabs inject the track with a sense of urgency and energy, building a hypnotic pulse that takes control of the dancefloor.

Gabriel Ben is a techno music producer and DJ known for his influential work in the electronic music scene. As one half of the renowned duo Tattoo Detectives @tattoo-detectives and co-owner of Teggno Records, Gabriel made significant contributions to the techno genre. His tracks, characterized by deep basslines and intricate rhythms, received widespread acclaim and support from industry heavyweights. Known for his dynamic DJ performances, Gabriel Ben captivated audiences at prestigious clubs and festivals worldwide. Though he has since stepped back from active music production, his legacy continues to inspire the techno community.

Colombian born American raised house music junkie is who I am. Love this sound since the disco days of the late 70's and early 80's. Dancing to solid gold on tv and growing up with the electronic snyth pop european sound of the Flock of Seagulls, The Cure, OMD, and The Cure that totally inspired my musical taste of now. What really changed my views of the whole electronic sound was the Grateful Dead. I was the biggest hippy with the long hair and going to mad Phish and Dead concerts that made me marvel at the fact that they would play one song and blend another song during jam sessions. My room mate was from Britain and had mad rave flyers on the wall and would blast Trance Europe Express all day all night. I told him about my marvel of the jam bands blending and then a couple of hits of E later and this kid was on a prowl to feel that first love affair of techno and E. Many years later until my purchase of Technics 1200 and a cheesy Numark mixer and I was set to be the best Dj I could be.
