This is a song about two spirits that have lived multiple lives without finding each other. When they finally do, an asteroid is about to slam into earth, wiping out all life and the life they were about to live together. The sadness is that they will not know what could have been and what kind of life they could have built together. The beauty is that their love is defined by that powerful moment and they will never know tragedy or heartbreak. They will not experience the pain of one of them dying before the other. They will be spread throughout the cosmos and the force of their love will forever float in the cosmic dust that was once earth.
